Part Reviews

CPU

Good quality/price ratio. It won't give outstanding performances but it can do the job in almost any games.

Pros: -Great price -Great quality -Quiet included fan

Cons: -Not overclockable -Not outstanding (but still good)

Motherboard

It's a great motherboard for budget builds or first-time build. It doesn't have major features but is still good enough.

Pros: Great qulity Bios supports the mouse

Cons: -Only 2 RAM slots -Only one pci-e slot

Memory

Really great quality/price ratio. We can easily upgrade to 16 GB because it's 1x8 and not 2x4. It's enough for most of the games.

Pros: -Cheap price -DDR4

Cons: -Looks a bit ghetto (has a sticker to "decorate" -Some recent games may need more than 8GB.

Storage

Well, it's fine.

Pros: -Fast -Not expensive

Cons: - Not an SSD

Video Card

This GPU is doing awesomely great performances at that price range. It looks great and is great, and gives really good performances at this price range.

Pros: -Really great for budget builds -Awesome quality/price ratio -Can run a long list of games really well -No power connector is needed

Cons: -Plastic case a bit cheap

Case

This case is cheap in price and in quality. Will do the job but no more.

Pros: -Nice look -Reset button. -Has USB 3.0 ports on the side -Comes with a pre-installed fan

Cons: -Cheap quality -Not that much space to work in -Hdd bays are not really accessible and you may need time to fit your hdd in it

Power Supply

Cheap price but good power delivery.

Pros: -Cheap

Cons: -Not modular

Monitor

It's a great monitor if you don't want to spend much money in it.

Pros: -60Hz -Great settings menu -Good looking

Cons: 1600x900

How the video editing on this. I'm in the market to build a PC like this .

I didn't really try video editing on it but it performs really well in games. If you want to record, it will perform really well. For editing videos, I think it will do fine. Anyways, you could also get a better CPU for more multitasking. Hope it helped you.

Do you have any FPS results? I'm looking at doing this exact build for my friend since I have a H110 laying around. Trying to convince him to get the i3 over the i5 so we can get the 1050ti.

Performances in game are really great. I'd recommend going for the i3 too since it won't bottleneck the GPU and it is a lot cheaper. I don't think getting an i5 will make a lot of difference.

Did you have any problems with the graphics card not displaying? I have the same motherboard and graphics card but when I turn mine on the fan will start then shut off and I get no display.

I had a problem where vertical lines were appearing on the screen but nothing like yours. To fix mine I just changed the resolution from 1600x900 to 1920x1080. Try doing some troubleshooting on google.
