First off, I wish they had this case on this list - It is a full sized tower on Newegg $50 (now sold out) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811855011 I want to start out describing the case because it is not on the parts list It is full sized with 9 expansion (3 external access and 6 internal) slots PLUS one external sata dock at the top of the case The best part of the case is the built in dock. and the space - very roomy with 6 case fan places For a full sized tower, it isn't as huge as some that I have seen out there. I feel like it can pass as a larger mid sized tower. The cons however, is that there is not very much space behind the motherboard to hide wires, you have to pull them over to hide them behind the drive enclosures, and there isn't really access holes around the motherboard tray, so you have to be really patient doing your wiring maintenance - especially if you aren't using a modular PSU
CPU - built this as an entry level gaming build, so this was enough juice to handle most games
Cooler - runs quiet, nice slim low profile design, looks good and so far it has been doing its job, HOWEVER this was a PAIN to install. So, get it in right in the first place and don't plan on taking it out for awhile.
MOBO - MSI has been making some great motherboards out there and so I wanted to try this out
RAM - really good brand. HUGE and HIGH profile design, so be carefull with your cooler choice - another reason I have a low profile design
Storage - 500gb for the OS and other regular use programs (normally I would have used an SSD, but they are pricier, and I noticed that if you like placing things on your desktop, like I do, and have Dropbox, you can fill up a 120 SSD REALLY FAST) 1tb for the other good stuff - like games and videos and other larger files
GPU - able to run games on mid settings just fine. I actually like the 600 series over the 700 series, but this will be one of the next upgrades I am going to do
PSU - ok, the cables were a bit of a pain, and they were also a little too short for my liking. I prefer longer and then just tidy it later versus too short and needing to get extensions. I DID NOT need to get extensions, but it came close. Mainly picked this up because it matched my theme (mine is black and red versus the silver/red combo shown) and LEPA has a decent reputation. I do like their case fans.
WNC - because you never know if you want to bring your rig to another room. This is the dual band card
