I have been planing this build since April 2016, and this is when i bought first part for it,witch was gtx 970 from msi. It may be a bit unusual to start off with buying graphic card first, but i got really good deal on it and it was just one i could not miss. I was successively buying parts pretty much every month as long as the budget allowed :) before every part purchase i was doing some research first, So every single part is cherry picked by me, making this build truly mine. i think overall parts selection was decent, there may be a couple of things i may have done differently but well it is to late now :P I have to admit that i thoroughly enjoyed every single step of this project. it was my first build ever. :) and i think i got a bug for it so it may not be the last one.. But for now and 1080p for me its fine im really happy with it. Feel free to ask any questions if you planing to use some of the part i used, or similar. feel free to comment i you wish so. and have a good day :)

Part Reviews

Amazing cpu, runs cool it's super quick. Best buy for the money when it comes to gaming. I'm loving it!!

CPU Cooler

Great looking unit, solid performance. One of the best single tower heatsinks out there. Only down side is that it covers first ram slot, so if I ever need more ram I would probably have to upgrade or get slimmer fan from universal version of h5 m. But again I knew what I was buying so no cons there, awesome buy highly recommended:)

It got all the features i need and more. It supports Sli, it supports Raid, and it's all black!! incl. heat spreaders Rgb's on this board are discreet not to flashy. All connectors are in the right place, enough fan headers. and I love sata ports and usb 3.0 being at an angle made cable management look so cleaner. Highly recommend!!

Great looking set of ram, white pcb, white heat spreaders. It looks awesome and get's the job done!!

Incredibly fast ssd, I use it for the operatin system. It boots pc instantly:)

Used as mass storage, games, music, pictures etc. no problems so far!

Video Card

This graphic card will handle pretty much every game on ultra settings at 1080p there's some games like witcher 3 will require you to play with some settings just a little bit. Nonetheless since I'm not upgrading monitor just yet, this card it's more than I need. Highly recommended!!

Well this is controversial one, because there are cases out there that liked and really considered like nzxt s340 or corsair carbide 400c or inwin 805. None of the above had 5.25 external bay, which is what I need for an optical drive. I know I'm a bit old fashioned maybe because more and more cases don't have one these days and within couple of years they might completely disappear. I do use my cd/dvd writer to burn files or music from time to time. Old school I know :) anyway I decided to go with this case not only because of that, I do simply love the way it looks!! in win know how to make a good cases. Only cons I could think of is like mentioned before in other review. expansion slots covers, you actually have to break them out to install gpu etc. you can buy slot covers to replace them tough. And there is no gap on the top to feed 8pin cpu power connector trough, so that one have to go trough same way as 24pin connector. Other than that I would still recommend this case even for first time builders!!!

Power Supply

Despite bad reviews this unit had I simply bought it because I got it really cheap and as Johnny guru mentioned in his review of this unit, "it is good 650 watt power supply with 750watt sticker on it" :)

Case Fan

Fairly quiet, good looking fan!!

Its funny because While the pc was turned off i was like wow this is a really sleek pc build. Then I see the pc turned on with the red led fans and im like oh... The fans really ruin the vibe.

Was the case good to build with?

Well, In my opinion it was really good, and relatively easy to build with. But It's hard to say really because you see it was my first build. The only downsides I can think of maybe it would be nice to have rubber shroudes where you feed power supply cables through. And there's no hole for 8pin power connector above motherboard usually on the left top. So 8pin cable goes above motherboard and joins 24pin. And last thing I have to point out are the pci-e expansion slots covers that you have to break out in order to instal gpu etc. (you can buy spare covers to replace them) Apart from all that, I would still recommend even for first time builders, (plenty of space at the back for that cable management) and it's extremely good looking case! Hope that's somehow helpful :)
