The last time I built a computer was while at Rowan University in 2006. Winter break was spent visiting family in England. I returned to The States and received a voicemail from local police saying that a number of apartments were burglarized on Christmas morning. My custom PC was one of the many stolen items. Bummer... I’ve had a number of laptops since, but a YouTube rabbit hole sucked me back into PC geekdom.
Upon acquiring all the parts the build went smoothly. And while I originally installed Windows 10 Pro on the wrong drive, I have since fixed that.
I'm not much of a gamer, and am not an editor or streamer. Basically it was either this build, or a new Mac Book Pro.
This machine has bang for the buck, some future proofing, and upgradability.
I had a blast researching every aspect of this build. And I enjoyed the build and setup process.
Input and advice appreciated!
