Description

This machine replaced my 4 year old gaming laptop I7-6700HQ with Nvidia 965M.

Reasoning behind Ryzen 9 verses Ryzen 7 is the ability to do CAD designing as well as a high end gaming machine.

Only thing i have left to do is design and build the cooling loop.

My budget for the tower was $2000.00

My original Build had a Thermaltake - ToughPower Grand RGB 850W gold. The problem with this one is it only had 1x 4+4 and i needed a second for the CPU power. Bestbuy had the corsair in stock.

When i switch to water cooling i will swap out the Corsair for a TT 1050w Platinum PSU.

Is there a reason you only opted for a 2060 S?

It appears to be a good match for his monitor, gaming at 1080p/60Hz at high settings in most games.

True. Wasn’t thinking about the monitor which is a critical error

I've built today something that is quite similar to your build; same motherboard, same CPU, same graphic chipset. However, more often than not I get a VGA error on the m/b on boot. may I ask you if you had to tweak anything in the bios to make it go?
