Description

so I was an idiot changing the fan on the top of my corsair one as i work on high voltage live frequently at work, well i touched the wrong pins and fried the output of the cpu pump (which in a corsair one daisy chains to give power to gpu pump and top fan) I then kept being told corsair was sending me a box it will arrive in 2 days, well 2 months passed by. I bought a z390 asrock phantom gaming x itx/TB3 which had more fan headers and overall I/O, worked great. Then I got my hands on a couple 3900x :) . After putting one in my big build swapping 9900k from that as well. I realized the 3900x is a monster, then i thought, can i run a 12 core cpu and 2080ti in such a small machine? I had to try! I bought the same motherboard from asrock but x570 version and in it went, its now my go to machine. it is a monster! I swapped the SFF psu to a 750w as well. and the ram to trident z NEO 3600 c16 I had the 3200 NEO c14 I got better performance when OC on the 3600mhz, I manually OCd each CCX on the cpu. (the only way to get performance gain from OC on 3900x) . Its my baby.....until the 3950x comes :P

Too anyone who has the same issue, you can grab power from a fan header for GPU pump.

Dont have any good pics I included one of my big boy with a 9900k and gigabyte xtreme still in it.

Benchmark is from corsair one

i didn't realise that the One used standard size hardware, that's pretty cool, huh.
