Description

3 Years ago i built this pc to run as a hackintosh, well my dad built it with me, I was 10. We then moved and it sat in a warehouse for 2 years and 9 months. Over the last 3 months i have been remaking it into a good computer. I have added a GTX 770 to replace a old hd5450, a cooler master hyper212 evo to replace the intel stock fan, a 840 evo 128gb, windows 8.1, a razor keyboard, a corsair mouse, and two aoc 22inch monitors. I spent around 800 upgrading it. I used to game on a 13 inch macbook air so this was a good upgrade.(Sorry about the pics, its kinda late il take better ones tomorrow.)

Well no not really, considering i spent 350 on the GPU, around 120 on the SSD, 30 on the cpu cooler, and I'm already at 500. The rest was spent on a keyboard, (Razor Deathstalker) 80, a corsair mouse i think 50, 200 on the twin monitors. So about 830 on it. Bare in mind this was my first non laptop in 3 years. In order to build something for 830 i would have had 600 on parts, and would have ended up with a fare less powerful build. Though I'm probably gonna replace the motherboard and cpu when haswell-e comes out :).

you would've been better of with a a Razer mouse and Corsair keyboard, not a Razer keyboard and Corsair mouse.

im still rocking my i7 2600k, love this CPU i wont replace it anytime soon as there is no need to, having this CPU and my EVGA GTX 680 superclocked signature 2, plays everything i have thrown at it so far on max settings, when it cant.. I'll get another GPU otherwise the CPU isn't a bottle neck that's for sure.

Im thinking of upgrading the motherboard because its dieting, (Usb 3.0 ports stopped working so and so)also that motherboard for some reason = no over clock. So I'm looking at spending 100 dollars on that :). That would be the end of upgrading that sob for a couple years.

well its a cheap piece of crap intel motherboard with a cheap intel chipset so overclocking isn't there.

A better motherboard will improve performance overall.
