Description

Budget was $350

My Friend was fed up with her HP laptop, so I offered to build a her a computer. He agreed and I started accumulating parts. He said he wanted a Small 16in tall computer to fit inside the desk, Gaming in high setting, Blue front LED, Cool temps and big hard drive space.

I was like LOL have you seen my shelf they all loaded. Picture of my computer components http://imgur.com/a/Sc9Lw

CPU- i have extra cpu laying around the table, i gave him my lowest i5CPU on the table.

Cooler- Performs decently, bought on ebay

GPU- R9 280 purchase from ebay $140, plays dota 2 in high setting very well.

MB- Motherboard i got for free and was collecting dust

Ram- 8GB is alot for multi tasking and for playing dota 2. I had Extra ram on the table

Hard Drive: 1TB black WD. Reason: SSD price was gonna go over the budget and he had alot of steam games

Case- Rosewill case was on sale for $35

PSU- Got it for cheap from ebay

Sorry point this out but you say her at the start and than after a while you continue throughout the rest of the text to say he/him. Might want to correct that.

Nice build! Did you have any problems fitting the Hyper 212 evo in the Line-M case? PCpartpicker is showing a compatibility flag for me.

If I may be nosy, how did you end up with all those parts?! I wish I had a shelf like that, haha! Good on you for helping out a friend! +1

Great build for the budget, although I feel you got ripped off since I got both of my 280X's for $140 apiece on ebay. Also, I've had that case before, so make sure that your friend cleans out that case every month or so because it's a dust magnet.

+1 just for runescape, I giggled super loud in the middle of class knowing that there is a fellow runescape player, although I play old school runescape not runescape 3. Thanks for the chuckle mate +1 super nice build!

"Dota 2 budget build" and "R9 280/i5 4590" generally don't go together. How did you pull this one off? Just... wow. That's some serious E-bay skill, this is the kind of build that would cost you at least a good $600 normally.
