Description

Been doing some trading and selling and whatnot to accomplish this on a minimal budget. Took months to get all the components for the right price, but she does pretty darn good! I have been a console gamer my whole life and am just now figuring out how good PC gaming can be! My settings are as follows:

CPU OC to 3.8ghz @ 1.30 volts RAM using profile 2 @ 2933mhz

Resting temp is 33 deg C, I have seen it get to 70 deg C once but when gaming hard it usually runs around low to mid 60 deg C.

The PSU is definitely an overkill, also what is the GPU because its not listed?

Oh I agree the PSU is overkill, but it was on a killer sale. Its so I can upgrade in the future without having to worry. Also, the GPU is at the bottom, its from best buy and had to manually add it.

Oh ok, I see its ok if you had a great deal on the PSU . Also the first thing you could do is get a hdd for mass storage or even think about something like upgrading the cpu .

Agreed, I have a 1tb HDD installed as well for all my steam games, its a toshiba but I can't remember what it is, all I know is it isn't listed anywhere. The 120gb was literally free and I store destiny 2 on it since that's what I play the most. In December I will have some expendable income and will be upgrading to the Ryzen 5 2600X. Sucks to have to wait but it does fine for now. I hate how slow the building process is due to lack of funding but I'll get there.

Nice build dude ! Hey I have a question did you have any problems in terms of using a first gen ryzen cpu with your b450 ? I'm thinking about using a ryzen 5 1600 on a b450 tomahawk aswell. Thanks !

Did you have any RAM CPU compatibility problems as the CPU is only supposed to be used with 2666MHZ RAM? If so what have you done and also is there any chance you could check out my parts list please. Thanks.

The issue I ran into was when I attempted to OC to 3200mhz, it wouldn't always boot first time. When I used the default OC profile 2 within the bios at 2933mhz it solved that issue.
