Description

Okay so this is a budget fix because my client's old motherboard died. Budget was $250, and I was able to stay under that by going to Micro Center. Only the motherboard, processor, and case were replaced. The GPU, PSU, RAM, optic drive, and HDD were re-used.

GPU - ATI/Diamond Radeon 4890

RAM - Samsung 4Gbs 2x

Case - Diablot EVO

I will add more pics later... when I have time at least. Also will run benchmarks later and overclock before sending to my client.

Yea not sure why... Is it really just because of the unfortunate switch from an i7 to AMD A8? But really this was the best I could do with this right budget.

Why did you replace an i7-930 with an A8-6600K?

Because there was a budget if 250. And a new case was needed.

Do you mean that a new mobo was needed?

Yes and a new case. Unfortunately was not able to find a mobo for a good price with the 1366 socket. So instead at their request went with AMD. Also will be adding a 6670 card
