Description

Hello everyone.

I'm new here so I'll introduce myself first. I'm 25 years old tech lover. I'm from Poland. Now I'm finishing my 5-year studies (sociologist here). I'm also working on 3/4 time basis and that's why I am extremaly proud that I can fulfill my dreams (which for me is more expensive than cheap). Anyway, glad to be here and I'm happy that there is a site like this where I can post some pictures of my PC and talk about it. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I do. And sorry for my weird english:)

First of all, I bought most of this parts a year ago. From my old build I left only HDD and PSU. In near future it will be replaced.

About a month ago I decided to change my case. The old one was pretty good, looks nice and overall it was ok. I just want some change, and some more space. I spent more money than I should probably, but this case will stay with me for many years probably. So yeah, I recently bought Phanteks EVOLV ATX. I was waiting for the Galaxy Silver version in my shop, because imho it was the prettiest one. I also buy some LED strip in white and red, but I figured that red light doesn't match to my interior at all so I stick into the white one.

When I was collecting the parts, I realize that MOBO and GPU from MSI Gaming series determines the colors. I never was a big fan of red color but what could I do when MSI was the best choice for me at the moment? :)

After this, I decided to buy some 2133 CL9 memory. I don't get too much choice so I chose the neutral (i case of color) one. Corsair Vengeance Pro.

Few month ago I also decided to change CPU Cooler. I'm not kind of OC person and I did this just because of temp and overall look. For me it's fair enough. And I chose Raijintek Themis. Pretty good CFM, low noise and that look. After that moment I think that red is not bad at all and it got Noctua-look-like. So i got my "Noctua for poor people" cooler. In some future I'll probably try some water cooling but only in CPU. Now, I ordered some red material pads for my mobo screw holes and it looks awesome in my opinion.

I'm not as much gamer as my peripherials looks like but I love my mechanical keyboard. From time to time I play CS:GO and then I feel great with my CoolerMaster QuickFire TK and SteelSeries Rival.
Moreover I love to play racing games (especially sim racing) so I got MOMO Racing Force Feedback. It's fair enough for me and the build quality is great.

What to say more? Maybe about my plans. - Some 144Hz 27" Monitor - Better cable management - PSU with modular cables - Any stand for monitor (every stand will be better than my PSU box haha) - I'd love to see some cable mod (now I just paint my PCI-e and power supply cables to match that black/red interior) - also some watercooling in CPU (probably Corsair but we will see) - and finally, as I said before, I'm a student right now. this is only my rented room. I can't even change my desk or chair. That's why you see that retro furniture all around. I'll definitely change this in future and get some badass desk and chair for my set.

I think that's basically it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Leave some comment if you mind - I'm gladly talk with you guys:)

Peace:)

P.S: All of it was possible because 5 year ago I met the best person (already my fiancée) in my life. She understand my hobby and what is more awesome - she also love my PC as much as I do and when I'm buying some new parts, we always build it together.

Hey, I really like your config! The keyboard is fantastic, I think that I'll buy that model too lol What about a better ssd? Samsung EVO and PRO are very efficients, and have a really good performance/price ratio :D Aaand I've finally found another MaSu fan, it's my favourite band!

Happy to hear that! Better SSD you said? I will buy EVO for my dad in next month, but for me Plextor is just ok. For me SSD must handle only OS so for now it's ok, but in future there will be probably some 250GB (and probably Samsung). We will see:) MaSu fan?! Maaaan! I love you already! I'm a big fan of MaSu since 2005 (saw them live 2 times and I even know them personally^).

Hmm..Italy would be tough, I admit. M mavorite songs has been changing since I discover MaSu but favorite album is definitely Redeemer (also Origin and Arcade on second place). Love sidologies. Hope u see them live someday. For me it was the best day in my life:)

Oh my god, Redeemer is their best album imho, I like the March of the Undead songs and Oki Kuma's Adventure, amazing lyrics! Btw I think that they'll never come to Italy, so I'm planning to see them in other places

Good for you! Btw, do you know MachinaeTribe? Found us on facebook. We are international fanclub but with few more pros than normal fanclub - on MachinaeTribe are also band members and we talk freely with them:) We also got MachineMondays when we all gather in one site to listen MaSu's songs and talk to ourselves on chat. Pretty often band members join us and we talk many hours as a best friend. You need to check this out :)

First upvote from me! Glad to welcome you to the community. I love your build and have one of my own in the same case except I have the black version! I will admit I don't see many people with the VS series from corsair. Does it have a decent rating for everything that's on your rig? Other then that you took some really good quality photos which aren't as normal to see as you'd think. Love the simple keyboard too. Feel free to look around pcpp and comment and upvote peoples builds. People on here can also answer alot of questions if you ever have one. To start you can head to my page where I have 9 builds (10 but one is being loaded to the page soon) and get a feel of how to navigate! Again, glad to have new members!

Thanks you sir! Glad you enjoy my work and hobby as I do. I take some time, effort and money to do this in that way and comments like this make me very happy. Thanks for warm welcome:) I will definitelly check other's builds. This is great fun! About VS650 - I understand you are asking me is it enough power supply for that parts, aren't you? If so, there is enough power because GTX970 is moooore power sufficient than Radeon. Anyway, VS650 will be changed for the first (I got it for 3 years now - my oldest part of that rig). As I said before, thanks for warm welcome and itroducing me to this site DexterW :)

Hey no problem at all. Always good to see serious people who love computers.when someone loves them like we do it always shows. And good to hear about the VS, was just weird to see one cause most people don't have it. For a good one to upgrade to without breaking the bank is EVGA brand psu's they have great quality for the price. I know how much I enjoy thoughtful comments so I like to return the favor. Glad to see you on the site. Now I'm just waiting for your second build... Haha or upgrade photos. That would work too :p

Yeah, in my country VS series was pretty popular in meantime. Anyway, it's time to replace them and EVGA is on my mind. I forgot to thank you about your compliment to my photos. It really takes time and effort to make this effect with phone (Samsung S6 but still...this is phone). Glad you appreciate it. So, when I go for upgrade I definitely show you how it looks! Have a nice day:)

Solid and clean build, how do you like that case? Was it worth the price tag?

Glad that you like it. About case is the long story. I was going to buy Define R5, Define S or H440 but none of them can gets me really. Then I saw something with forbidden price tag for me. I was sure that this is it and I need to make it possible. Is it worth this? Dunno. If you won't change case too much, this is good base and you shouldn't take it cheap when interior is top notch or even mid range. That's my opinion and that's why I don't regret it.
