Description

So I've been busy over the past year. I still have my 860K, and it's currently overclocked to 4.3GHz stable. I'm cooling it with a Cooler Master Hyper T2. Does the job pretty well.

Over Christmas, some family got me an extra kit of RAM, the ASRock motherboard, and the ADATA SSD. I have all of these in the build now, and it's kicking ***.

As you can see, I have a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 as my GPU now, over the 950 I originally started with. (Don't worry, I made up my money on the 950). The 780 is the GHz Edition. Kickass card.

All in all, this build is now perfect, in my opinion. I couldn't be happier. It kicks *** and I haven't had issues with it yet.

If they're fine with the looks and noise then there isn't much reason to.

It shouldn't be done. Not with that motherboard anyway.

Well, I'm not planning on overclocking right now. So I should be fine with the stock cooler.

Eh, I'm not overclocking and the stock cooler does well. If I plan to overclock in the future, or get tired of the looks of the stock cooler, I'll keep the 212 evo in mind.

Nice build. But why the $100 case. I would have saved some $$$ on the case and put it towards the gpu and gotten a 960 or 380.

Actually, the case itself was only $60... I got handled in the shipping costs. I had been wanting this case, and it was like the last one they had in stock the place I bought it from. (In this color) So I decided to jump on it.

Honestly, this case was the last thing I bought. I had been using that cheap Vivo case as mentioned earlier.

Were you thinking of upgrading anytime soon because i dont know if its a smart idea of going with the athlon processors anymore. They are getting kinda old. But otherwise a really good build. I am thinking of building an identical build.

I haven't had any problems so far. Every game I've thrown at this PC (minus Just Cause 3, which from what I've read should have no problem running on this hardware) has played perfectly.
