Bought the gpu from a friend, super happy with the build.
well, if your name is cocaine dealer... why such a low priced build? lol..
Not bad. Cable management could use some work. For 750 not bad.
Is it just me or is that heatsink crooked? Yikes.
As far as cable management goes, maybe some tips idk... try turning your HDD around as well as that SSD and have the cables on the other side. run your cables thru the back and zip ties them logically in place. I see you Heatsink is on crooked... Like LeMonarque stated. I also see your fans are plugged into the mobo... try ordering a cheap fan controller or fan port hub by NZXT, mount it in the back with the rest of the cables and it should look nicer.
Btw, I have 2 7970s, theyre fun :P not bad though regardless of what anyone says. keep building!
This build is down voted but it actually isn't really bad. Many would argue against the GPU since it's old but you only paid $70 for it so can't complain too much. I guess the cable management could be cleaned up a bit and upgrading to a new AMD card. It depends on the games you play though, a 7870/7950 would do well assuming at 1080p. Or a 760 does great as well from the Nvidia side.
I got it for 70 dollars which is a really good price, and the card has a lifetime warranty, so its fine for me.
Yeah, some people here think you need a card that at least maxes out 18/20 games when it isn't always necessary. I had a 7770 in my first rig and I could still crank out high settings on just about every game (only had a few games at the time though). The biggest things to turn down when the card isn't up to par is the AA, shadows, and motion blur and maybe some depth of field. Still looks great.
I only bought my 760 because it looked so good for the price, and I may have picked up the "I always want better" curse.
I like the build, but i think for 900 moneyz you could have ended up with a higher tier computer build, i like it though, how good is the GPU?
I spent a total of around 780ish.
Thanks for telling me, people can see though??
Great choices. Looks like you want to do some editing work. If it's gaming you want then you might want to upgrade your friend's GPU.
nice build, you got good prices on everything
nice job man. Cleanup those cables and we'll be straight.
Aw, should have went with 8GB RAM and got a better graphics card.
whats the gpu u bought
