Description

Very proud of this mini build. First ever itx build and first time using a dremel on a build. I love the way this case turned out. I couldnt stand the positioning of the PSU in the default layout so I got creative.

This is a great build not only in terms of form factor and looks (I love Lian Li cases as a general rule), but also in price and functionality! This will do exactly everything you need an HTPC to do, short of actually storing a library of congress' worth of ripped media.

May I ask who/what was this built for?

I personally made it to be a secondary light gaming rig. But I could use it as a server, media pc, or NAS very easily. Thats what I love about it; its small and versatile. Im planning to up the HDD to 1tb soon, but I couldnt wait so I just threw in a 320 laptop drive for now.

May I ask why? You could make this little guy scream on linux.

I guess thats something I could do. Admittedly, I havent delved into the Linux atmosphere that much. Something I should definitely look at more into though

wow, it's been a long time since i last saw a Lian Li case. i like the modifications you made to it in order to fit a few of the components in.

Something about Lian Li that makes you want to mod them. Maybe it's the simplistic styling, maybe it's the smell of burning aluminum...

Wow I wish they would make a case like this with the layout yours is in! It looks just like a miniaturized tower lol

It's amazing! Like other people have said, this case should have been laid out like this to begin with! I understand Lian Li trying to make it more versatile by accepting ATX PSUs though

I have a question, is it possible to fit a 3.5" Hard Drive in there or only SSD?

I would've either had to remove the front 120mm fan or use a single slot graphics card. I decided to get more airflow and GPU power instead. But yea, definitely possible with a little finagling.
