Description

This is my second build, decided to treat myself after I graduated college. Bought a used Vega 56 and but everything else. Wanted to create a solid PC for under $1000.

Biggest pain was the CPU and bios - I had to borrow a friend's 2600x to update bios. I didn't really think it was worth $200 to buy one of the few X570 motherboards available right now.

Overall, working on this case was very claustrophobic but other than that, it was really nice. Case is really beautiful and loved the compactness without serious compromise to airflow. Showy with a touch of class and style, wasn't terribly heavy either. Love the CPU cooler, Noctua quality shows in sound and temperatures.

Overall, a solid upgrade from my i5-4690k and R9 390 :)

Nice build! How was the clearence between the CPU cooler and the raised M.2 drive on the motherboard? I'm looking at doing a very similar build and it's making me hesitant.

I currently don't have an M.2 drive at the moment, but the cooler doesn't seem to be getting in the way.
