Description

This was my first build and I couldn't be more happy. I use it for gaming, music Netflix and movies.

Thanks to the Noctua fans it is vary quite and cool.

You really lost the silicon lottery if you get to 79c at load on a 3.9ghz Oc, sorry man

that's the max I get using Prime95 Torture Test for 16 hours. I have not checked it while playing games.

Is that with the thermal paste worn in yet?

That's still on the lower side though...

I don’t think so I ran the test the day I built it.

Hm seems pretty high to me? I have a 4.2 OC on a 3770k with a Hyper Evo 212 and max it ever hits is 70C when running prime95.

Have you applied the thermal paste properly?

Haswells run hotter than Ivy Bridges, but yes that's still pretty hot

Hm well with overclocking both Haswell and Ivy run pretty hot so I don't care there's a huge difference there.

I’m averaging 79.5 a minimum of 35 and a max of 158 in the valley on extreme HD at 1080p. With everything max out on far cry 3 at 1080p I’m seeing 75 are so. I will try to get more pics soon.

Is this not the quietest computer ever conceived?

It’s very quiet. The only problems with sound are the 2 stock 144mm case fans I have on top.

Man I didn't know Noctuas could look so good with interior lighting, seriously makes me reconsider a windowed case...
