I wish that too but unfortunately you still have idiots who is creating a gaming components with the green PCB....but it would be very nice to customise your colour scheme without having to buy new and expensive parts

MFW the gpu is not cooled ;_;

I too have this feel.

The reason I didn't cool GPU is because I have a very hard time finding a GPU block for non-reference graphics card... And I really want to upgrade to tighten and once that's done then I will definitely cool GPU also...

We have same CPU and GPU (well, mine from EVGA though) not connect one of your fan to CPU fan header? also... plz water cooling the GPU~~~ have you tried UV dye from Mayhams? All in all, great build.

At the time I really wanted to get a EVGA because they had a graphics card with the gold scheme but the reason I got MSI is because it was very cheap on eBay at the time... There is no connection on my CPU fan Heather because I don't think I needed as I water cool my CPU I could be wrong as I am a beginner when it comes to building PCs and all my temperatures are controlled automatically with Asus motherboard software, which by the way is amazing... I didn't even know that they have a UV dye for Mayhams but thanks for that I will try this.. And I am hoping very soon to get myself a titan GPU as I would like to move onto to 4K

Titan isn't worth it. It is only a few % better performance than a 980 Ti, if you want to have even more performance just SLI the 980 Ti

that sounds like a good idea..i'm just thinking about all the electricity being sacked from the wall LOL

Your build would've been featured if it had been put on at a different time, very nice loop. I hope to at some point build up the courage to make a loop as well. Great build though !

Thanks for that nice comment water cooling system is a amazing it feels like a great achievement once you're finished. But people could have a massive debate about the money spent on calling your CPU and GPU as it cost so much but the temperatures are still in 30s and 40s and I am not sure but I think you can I Achieve the same temperature with a H-100-I all in one liquid cooling system....

In no way is performance what I want to achieve from a custom loop, as I know it isn't worth it in that way. Aesthetics is purely it.

  • 1 point

Yes you are absolutely right it costs absolutely stupid amount of money to complete and performance gained is so little... I heard of this new Pc case that comes with cooling build in to it and it works like a fridge......that sounds very exciting to me....

This is the case I was talking about. sub-zero

Those Noctua fans normally stick out like a sore thumb, but here, in this build, they look freaking awesome!!

  • 1 point

Yeah I know what you mean I was in two minds also when I purchased them but at the end of the day they are the best fans on the market When it comes to silent fans... The problem is if I will change colour scheme I will have to buy new fans witch is a bit annoying..

  • 2 points

Jesus, that is a massive cooling loop. Definitely overkill, but I bet it gets stupidly low temps.

  • 2 points

Yeah the loop is huge it is definitely over kill this is my first PC so I wanted to go all out and also because the case is so big I had to buy extra radiator just to fill the space up... This PC case is just a tiny bit smaller than corsair 900 D And with regards to the temperatures my D5 water pump is on setting NR 1 and my fans is set to silent..and so far I am managing to achieve 40 degrees c whilst playing Arma 3 at 50 to 60 FPS @ maxed out settings..

Yeah the Noctua fans looks crap but they perform very very well near silent... A bit annoyed when I finish building my system Noctua has released black fans...
