Description

This computer was built for streaming and making better content on my Youtube channel (Verdix Legacy) since I was confined to only PlayStation games. So for this machine is working like a dream, i honestly could not ask for a better system for the price. I currently only pushed the cpu to 4.4ghz but I overclocked the FTW EVGA card to reach over 2,000mhz. This is the fastest machine I have used and I plan on adding another FTW card in the far future along with more ram.

Part Reviews

CPU

Does as advertise, nothing wrong at all with performance and cant ask for much more then that.

CPU Cooler

Keeps my CPU nice and cool while fitting the white/blue theme of my case.

Motherboard

No problems yet and easy to work with.

Memory

Looks nice and has great speed.

Storage

Got it from my dad who did not use it anymore 10/10 for free stuff!

Storage

Have not fully got to utilize yet but no problems so far. Lot of storage for cheap price.

Video Card

Absolutely beautiful, literally my dream card in terms of aesthetics. Got it to hit a max clock of 2,076 which seems absurd to me since I never had a high end system. Would recommend to anyone.

Case

Easy to work in, great cable management, 4 fans with pc shroud and magnetic dust filters. Dream to work with and worth the premium price.

Power Supply

This is the closest replacement I could find, mine is a Sentey 1000W Bronze+ certified semi-modular. Only has essentials attached and i got it at a great price.

Operating System

First time off windows 7, feels weird but I will get used to it.

That NZXT Logo on the CPU Cooler is driving me nuts....

Nice Over all Build..

Thanks for Sharing !!

Thank you, wanted to keep it close to nzxt as I could just to refrain from too many different companies.

He means that the logo is sideways, and maybe he is implying that he would rather have it read normally from left to right...

But anyways this an amazing build ._. It would be exactly what I would do if I re-did my build now (I built my PC for the same cost of what you did, but before the new GPUs came out so it has half the performance of yours....) +1 Definitely

I was about to use the 980ti but the new releases just came out in time for my new comp. I wish I could have turned the logo around but the mount only let me do it sideways. It's a small thing for me though

It's so pretty... that light makes me feel like a fly that is deeply attracted to the light. Good work with your build. +1

Did you have to mess with voltage at all to get your CPU to that clock rate? I'm getting this CPU and Cooler, but am a little intimidated by voltage.

The 4.4ghz on the cpu was a simple click of game boost on the mother board bios. It did not say if it did allow for more voltage to be drawn so I can not say for certain.

Alright, thanks for the info. Great build btw! How's the motherboard? P.S. I'm also getting this mobo.

Works very well also, easy bios, has quick boot up option, also color fits the scheme. It was also nice since the ram supports a wide array from slow ram to fast ram. It also comes with some other neat features.

I bet that GPU overclock can finally run Minecraft at 2 fps at 144p :D

Hey, I'm doing a similar build (air cooled) but planning on using single 1070 Ftw, do you reckon 750w gold+ will suffice with oc as high as I can get with air?

Many thanks

A 750 should perform well enough, got the 1000w in case i wanted another gpu.
