Description

Hello PcPartPicker! This is my first computer build, and I have to say that this site helped me a lot on my way. So, in general I use this computer for mostly gaming (AC black flag, splinter cell blacklist, and batman origins. all free with my graphics card!), homework, and videos. Eventually I plan on doing some coding and animation design. I have only had two problems while building this. First of all the first power supply, what I got was a thermal take 650 smart power supply for about 65 dollars, and man I felt really dumb after that. As soon as I tried to do a test boot the power supply failed (not my fault d.o.a.)! So I went back to fry's electronics and I got what I have now. The second issue that I had with this build was the case it self. The lower compartment can be very cramped if you have medium- large hand (i'm personally more on the larger side). But, all and all I am extremely satisfied with my build (except for the wiring.)

Note: I will and better pictures soon!

P.S. If anyone has any experience overclocking this card some advice would be much appreciated. and L.E.D. is soon to come.

I personally would have went with an Enermax ETS-T40 but other than that everything else looks great.

It works really well, no problems. Have not.tried to overclock it yet trying to figure out the best program to do it with.

yea you gotta be careful with the thermaltake power supplies. some have a European setting for power and if that's on when you are in the states you will blow a fuse. happened to me.

It was weird for me, the only thing that was broken was the fan cable. But, man it scared the crap out of me! When it happened the first time it made no sound, but then it did it again and it sounded like I blew the board!. I am not sure what happened all I know is that I am glad that I made the move to what I got now.
