Description

Simple build for my mum.

Dual Core with 4GB of Ram and 1TB of storage will be more than enough for office use and web browsing.

Tried to keep it as cheap as possible :)

Nice Build! How was the case to build in? I'm currently trying to spec out a sub 300 APU build and looking at the Fractal Design Core 1000 but the Thermaltake could be a contender.

Cheers

Thermaltake all the way for me! Cable management is incredible for a $45 case!

Nice Build!

For all those of you saying an APU would have been a better choice, I disagree for the use of this computer intel's advantage on single threaded process will make this computer feel and run snappier than an apu which will add to the OP's overall experience

I would have used an APU with 8 gigabytes of RAM but still very good for the price.

Why would you put 8GB for office use and web browsing? Most games don't even utilize 8GB. 4GB he has in there is more than plenty.

Yeah 8GB is overkill.. with 5 tabs open in chrome and Outlook only 1.2GB ram is used.. 4GB is more than enough :)

I'd have recommended an A6-7200k, 4 gigs of RAM, and a 500 gig hard drive. It would last a while longer and been relatively cheaper.

+1 for dem clean cables, though.

gr8 job m8 I h4pp3n to r8 it 7/8.
