Description

I've always been a Dell Buyer and one day wanted to build a Computer on my own. Well I finally did.

I really enjoyed designing and building this with the help of my Son, it was great fun and experience. I will be using this system mainly for Gaming but its also an all around computer I will be doing Work and Family Stuff on.

Before anyone says anything the 1st time I saw a Titan Video Card I thought to myself "Wow, I want one of those" so had to get it. Really nice glad I did.

I really like the CM Storm Enforcer Case it seems like it's just the right size for me. The Cable management side is a tight fit with the flat cables that are with Corsair 650W power supply. But it's ok, just didn't want to open again for pics.

All said and done I really like this build and thought it turned out ok. Building a Computer wasn't as hard as I had previously thought and I'm looking forward to building more in the future.

BTW... I came across PCPartPicker.com by accident and Wow am I sure glad I did. Great Website and Great Helpful Information. Thank you

why the titan? you can get two 780's (now at around $520) and murder the titan.. either way.. nice build man, good cable management too!

SLI has more issues and more of a likelihood that one card will have something wrong with it, plus less heat and less power consumption :)

Although this is a powerful build I feel there were some funds wasted and you could've gotten much better for the price

Still a plus one

Why the 32gb of RAM? Personally I would've gone with a higher speed than 1600 if I were trying to increase performance with spending $$ on RAM.

i'm not sure why you went with the Recon3D, Vortex Plus, and full Win7 Home Premium... not to mention a locked CPU with an overclocking-ready board. you could've gotten a much better value with a 4770K (or, more appropriately, a 4670K), a Hyper 212 EVO, Sound Blaster Z, and 64-bit Win7 OEM disk. if you trimmed the RAM to half of what you have and looked for a less expensive 3TB drive, it could leave room for an SSD and possibly even enough for a closed water loop like a Corsair H80i.

i'm not trying to put you down or anything, as i'm sure you have one heck of a gaming system as it is (i certainly don't blame you for the Titan, despite its now-apparent lack of performance per dollar), but this could've used a bit more polish in parts selection.

Nice build, however I'd recommend a more premium cpu cooler (for quieter operation) and a nice case for cable management. Also, if its not too late, try and refund that titan and get a 780 (almost identical performance for nearly half the price).

There are a lot of things I'd change but don't get me wrong this is great.

1.) Liquid cooling 2.) 4770K 3.) Nicer case at that budget ( just me fanboying Corsair ) 3.) I would have got a 780Ti in a few days.

I think it's great and I'm totally jealous of your video card and the overall look of it. <3 Starlana

Lol, you're getting 48c under full load so the cooler works. I suppose we just look at it and feel that it's not in league with the Titan.

Pricey build though like you, I was a Dell (albeit custom) buyer for a long time. I've found that once you go custom it's really like having a car project. lol

Cheers!
