Description

Alright so the processor was a birthday gift from my aunt but everything else I paid for so I got off lucky there. A lot of these were black friday deals and I was watching sales all month trying to find the best deals. The video card was from newegg, it was on sale for $489.99 and I used the masterpass code to get $49 off.

Everything was relatively easy to put together. The only diffuculty I had was with the cooler. The instructions were pretty vague in some parts and I thought I was going to break the motherboard putting it on. Once I figured it out though it was all fine. It keeps everything pretty cool so I can't complain. overall everything is pretty quiet. I originally had a fan on the side panel but that made it pretty loud so I took it out and haven't noticed a temp difference. I might add it back in when I sli but I'll figure that out later.

All in all I'm very happy with it. I added 115 mods into skyrim and I still get 60 fps. I plan to overclock the 8320 more later, I'm going to aim for 4.4 or 4.5 which I think will be easily reachable given the temps I have now. Feel fre to ask me any questions and I'll answer as quickly as I can.

Great build! Are you going to be using that SSD as primary storage, or add another hard drive?

I forgot to add the hdd I picked up to the list. I got a 1tb seagate barracuda that I added in a few days ago but the ssd is mainly for the os, skyrim, and whatever else I'm currently playing.

Nice build. How do you like that keyboard? Do you play FPS or MMORPG's?

The keyboard is really nice but a little too responsive for my clumsy fingers. I mostly play rpgs and some fps's. I don't really play any fps games competitively. If you can get it at a price like I did I'd recommend it but I've seen it for $130 some places and I think there are probably some better ones out there in that price range.

I love Fractal Design's cases, but the R4 in white is particularly beautiful. Especially at the price you got it for! Awesome build and bargain hunting.
