Description

i build my pc because i wanted to play every game maxed out 1080p with some filters off, and that worked. i also build it because i'm starting a youtube channel and i needed a good pc for that so i build this beast. i live in the netherlands and here the gtx 760 x2 was only 300 euros and the 290 or 970 where above 300 euros so i took this insted of a 290 or 970

Part Reviews

CPU

i got this one for free from my moms pc and i love it so much but, i don't like it that it has a bad heatinterface so i had to change my cpu cooler sqedual

CPU Cooler

i have nothing to say about this, it's just awesome

Motherboard

its an okay motherboard but the only downsite is that there are only 2 fan header so i had to put my front fan in molex and its running full load constant but still quiet and then my system will never overheat

Memory

i can render a 10 minute video 720p in under 2 minutes with this ram cpu and gpu combo

Storage

its a very good ssd it boot windows 10 up in 5 seconds and 500 up and down is very fast for a $50 ssd

Video Card

my favourite part of the build, i love this because it can handle everything i want out of it. and i only picked it up for $300

Case

its a very premium case and that only for $40 its has filterd intake and the fans are dead quiet

Power Supply

i had one but it was a defect unit but now its working fine and its powering my kind of sli system

Don't see many MARS 760's. Love it.

I might recommend looking to replace that PSU soon though. The CX750 is a pretty bad unit. http://www.hardocp.com/article/2015/01/21/corsair_cx750_750w_power_supply_review/9#.VeRqDsMYqUl

Something like an Antec, XFX, Seasonic, EVGA (G2,B2,GS) would be ideal.

Pretty bad ? I have had mine for quit some time and i have not have any problems with it.

tiny_voices 2 Builds 1 point 17 months ago

YEah it is not a good unit. Suffers badly from heat issues and poor performance. Also contains lower quality capacitors.

TimoHalofan 10 Builds 1 point 17 months ago

I did hear about that and that it was supposed to be loud. But mine is not loud and my system is quit cool. And i have my GPU and ram overclocked with no problem what so ever. And i have had this psu for a bit more than 2 years (About 3 years).

tiny_voices 2 Builds 1 point 17 months ago

That's the thing. Just because it is working doesn't mean it is giving perfectly clean and safe power to the pc. The psu can be doing damage that you can't see.

Though that may be true you most of the time will notice it when you are using the pc. And plus if you look up the reviews the only real thing poeple are complaining about is the coil wine. And not that they got any broken pc parts because of it. The same thing goes for the power supply's that come in prebuild pc's from company's like HP. A lot of poeple say they are terrible (And yes i know when compering them to higher end psu's they are) but i have been using a pc for years with that psu and that pc has run a GTX 750ti and now is running a 550ti and still is running fine. And i dont know when poeple started complaining about it but about the time i bought it everybody was recommending the CX serie's.
