I build this as my first computer from years of console gaming and laptops and will never go back. http://redd.it/2oie0j
You really don't need 16GB of RAM for gaming but still, very nice build! Welcome to the master race. P.S.: OC that CPU right now! :D
i saw cpu and numbers on the pic of the monitor, is that a program, correct me if im wrong, just curious
it is probably rainmeter
thx bro and nice build bro +1
Nice build. +1 u really don't need 16 gb of ram and could've gotten an ssd with 8. But I'm just being nitpicky
Looks like a great build. I have many of the same components in my build!
Do you like the keyboard and mouse combo?
Yes but the mouse wheel gets squeaky sometimes
How do you like that case?
Do you like the VG248QE? I'm considering getting it.
I love mine, its got pretty good colors for a TN panel, and there's a way to enable the lightboost on it. In my opinion its totally worth it if you can get over 60 fps.
Is the difference between 60 Hz and 120+ night and day?
Yes there definitely is. For me it's like night and day, but for others it may not be that noticeable. It just depends on whether you've got a trained eye for changes in fps.
I have the same keyboard and mouse :D
Is the mouse giving you some weird scroll wheel problems?
GHAD ISN"T IT ANNOYING
Never put your components on anti static bag from outside!! It is only anti stacic from inside!!
OK i didn't know that thanks
Nice build! I think you have found one of those "perfect balances" between cpu and gpu. Now with that evo, it will keep your cpu really cool, so I hope you overclocked. If not I recommend you do
Good build, Im currently saving up for this build. I would recommend you to over clock. Atleast to 4ghz.
How is the motherboard and Monitor as I'm thinking of getting the same
nice build! +1
i like them both
I'll be adding a second 970 to my rig next month and I have the same 212 EVO cooler.
How are your temps? Everything OK with the 212 EVO?
Yes they are fine
Thanks - your system is very similar to mind. I'm about to order the 2nd gpu.
Do you recommend the two 970s in sli. Any problems? Are you having good results?
