So I've found how to get optimal cooling in the In Win 303, I moved the radiator to the front bottom location and bull the air from the bottom, through the rad and out. I have a dropped my temps on Performance setting where at 35C fans run at 50 % and it's keeping both the GPU and the CPU at 34C. On idle which is all fan's at 20%, which makes it super quiet. 37c to 40c while watching video. And under a load on Prime95 59c to 65c to 68c is the highest temp. The GPU at these settings stays at 34c which it totally was not doing in the previous config.
I highly recommend moving the rad to the bottom, you will notice at least a 10 degree drop in overall temps. I believe this is the best airflow senario, and moving the rad out of the way of the GPU actually cools both the GPU and the CPU as upward airflow is no longer hinders by the RAD. I then in addition to prime95 started a Kombuster Stress test on the GPU, test got no higher than 60c with CPU at 100% load and GPU at 95% load.
All other config's I've tried have not yielded this type of cooling, my 120 rad is no performing as good as my 240 was, actually a little better because it's pulling in cool air from the bottom, rather than being mounted at the top.
Hope this helps someone.
Made a final decision on CPU coolers today. I tried basically all AIO's that I could get my hands on, but in the end I settled on the Corsair H80i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler. Has a very quiet pump and idle temps are at 32c with a 4.6 Overclock. I run all the case fans at 20% for this idle temp. I am doing Push Pull, and actually pulling cold air from outside, and then exhaust goes to the top of the case and out. Overclocking with Prime95 and Case Fan's at 100% top temperate is 81c, during Battfield 4, temps get no higher than 60c with a variable Fan speed setting.
Added HUE+ and Extension Kit, wow! It's the light variations like Marquee that make it so awesome.
I am satisfied with this final build. (Till I get another wild hair)...
Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor Samsung 950 PRO 500GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive
I also upgraded the following over the last week.
Siberia 800 Headset - Love this headset, I recommend it highly.
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy Rx 24-bit 192 KHz - After researching found that the digital out is the best config for the Siberia 800 Headset
NZXT Grid+ V2 - Total control over all my fans, keeps everything quiet when I want it and cool when I am stressing it.
MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 - Loving this board over my Hero VII, fewer boot issues (the Hero Board would constantly hang on reboot), looks great, love the software interface for overclocking.
I just really wasn't happy with the last two cases, nothing wrong per-say, just really like the tempered glass rather than acrylic windows. While in Fry's I saw this new case and just couldn't take my eyes of off it. The price was only $89 which I couldn't believe since it was built so solid, nothing cheap looking or feeling about this case. I also added my third monitor this week. So let me know what you think of the final build.
The InWin 303 case is tight, solid, looks great!
The MSI GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card is the bomb for me at least. Runs super cool, and supper quiet. I have gotten the highest Overclock scores of any machine I've built to date.
