Description

Hey guys! After 4 months of frugally checking PcPartPicker, I finished it! Most of the components were bought on sale. The Z77-D3H isn't my favorite though. I was planning on doing some heavy OCing, but I can only get my chip to 4.4ghz before random crashes. I still think it's a great board, just not for me. :) I got the 7850 off Craigslist for an amazing price. It's just there until I pick up a GTX 770. I also ordered a Z77A-GD65 to replace the D3H. I plan on getting a 840 Pro Series or HyperX 3K SSD sometime soon also.

The cable management took along time, but I think it's pretty good for a non-modular psu. :D The DG is great also. I got about 3 days after I finished the build, and man, I can say it's worth your money if you like good quality sound. The only problem is, the Z77A-GD65 doesn't have any PCI slots. When Christmas comes around, I plan on getting a Xonar DX and a FiiO E11.

I would love to hear your feedback! Tell me what I did wrong so I can fix it next time!

PS. I have it supported over the carpet by two bricks.

Really nice build. How is the 100i? Is it worth it?

It's great, except get some other fans with it, there alright, but there nothing special. There kinda like toned down OEM versions of the High Performance Static Pressure series fans from Corsair.

+1 for buying all the things on Steam! Also, not a bad PC all around. EDIT: Read the full description. Good luck with the updates. :)

Nice looking build, although you might of wanted to put just a little more cash to a nicer 7870, 7950, or 760. But I understand your reason...100$ for a 7850 is a steal anyday :D

Yeah, also it's just there until I get a GTX 770 in a few weeks.

Solid Build, but why did you decide not to get Intel's 4th gen I-5 or did you get the 3570k before they came out?

I got it before Haswell. :)

Great computer. But why are you buying many components and already have plans of upgrading?

I wasn't planning on upgrading the motherboard, and I wanted a gpu to play games from the Steam Sale. :D

Why don't you get the Creative Sound Blaster Z. It's around $100 and it's the latest comparing with the Asus Xonar DG.

It's amazing, it helps SO much in MMOs, and also in almost every game. It also is very ergonomic.

Hi, I know this is a while on but is that case actually the Shinobi XL Window? It looks like an R4 from this angle

It's certainly not a Shinobi XL that's for sure.

Where did you get those red directional WASD keycaps? I have been looking for some for awhile.

nice build for the price. i personally would have gone with an amd processor and put more money into the gpu. and with an intel core, you dont need such an expensive cpu cooler.

I was going to wait a couple more months before finishing it, but because of the Steam Sale, i just went ahead and bought it for the time being. Also, it does make a little difference, it also looks quite nice. :) And thankS
