This was my first build, and I have yet to run into any problems yet - all of the hardware has worked perfectly, although i haven't overclocked any of it yet.
CPU - The 4690k has been more than enough for my gaming needs, and should last me a while as I can overclock it later on.
Cooler - Under 40 degrees almost 100% of the time, and almost silent. Not much more you could ask for here. Glad I made the choice on getting liquid cooled instead of air cooled.
Mobo - Was a breeze building with this one, and has everything I need in it. 4 RAM slots, more than enough USB, and I probably won't plan on X-fire down the road.
RAM - 16 GB of overclockable memory, has been reliable and definitely enough for my needs. Glad I didn't get 8, I've been over 10-11 quite a few times.
Storage - 1tb reliable hard drive for my normal files, and 250gb in my SSD is enough for 3 or 4 of my favorite games (probably more if i didn't have GTA in there).
Graphics Card - The highlight of this build, has been able to make use of my monitors refresh rate in practically all the games I've played, averaging 75-80 FPS in GTA and keeping a stable 144 in CS:GO. Also haven't even overclocked it yet.
Case - Can't say this was my best choice at the price point when i bought it, bought it looks great and it wasn't too much of a pain to build in. If i could go back, though, I would have probably gotten an S340 or Fractal Design case.
Power Supply - Though I was going to end up with a lower end i5 & r9 380 when i bought this - will probably be one of the first things i upgrade.
Optical Drive - It works.
Monitor - Amazing monitor, and I was able to get it for 60$ thanks to my sister breaking her laptop (which had insurance on it, so we got a free gift card and I was able to use it after I gave her my old laptop to use). Definitely noticed the difference in CS:GO and other games where it stays around 120-144. The colors also look surprisingly nice for a TN monitor.
Keyboard - Would definitely not recommend. Pretty bad build quality, space bar doesn't work sometimes, and the lighting is extremely uneven & tacky. Hopefully getting a K70 soon.
Mouse - G502, an amazing mouse with everything I need on it. Use most of the buttons, and have run into absolutely zero problems. Also looks great & feels great in my hand.
Thanks for reading! (sorry for the potato pics & horrid cable management - kind of hard with this power supply.)
