Description

Hello, Thanks for stumbling upon my build I appreciate it!

I am a Gamer and love building PC's I play Csgo and GTA V

So My inspiration or original idea stemmed from the Desk PC Built By ImFaceRoll and his completely custom watercooled build, and how I wanted my own, i had dabbled a bit into custom watercooling but only recently have I taken a much bigger interest into it.

The Build was a lengthy process, taking a total of about 10 hours to produce a final desk, get it painted and then final assembly. The Desk itself is made of 20mm MDF which makes up all the pieces but one, that one broke 3 times until we were super careful with it and it being cut. The Glass came to me as a surprise, I had gotten quotes for about 3 weeks for $500 and $400 so when I got told i could get a sheet the size i wanted for $270 I was staggered at the pricing.

The Build was pretty simple, i had most of the motherboard prepared and ready for installation, with the cpu waterblock mounted already from my past build. Once the Gpu waterblock was installed i was in business, I bent all of the PETG then realising my fittings were adaptors and not to a good standard either because they leaked. After then spending an entire day draining the system I rebuilt the loop fixing some bends and doing others over. The overall product I am happy with, I use it everyday and spend every waking our thinking has it leaked.

The final Step was entering this into a Art Show in which I got runners up peoples choice award loosing by 6 points Darn.

P.S Thanks to the Builder of The Red Emperor TSD45 as he is the one who took most of the good photos

Part Reviews

CPU

Great Gaming CPU Hasnt Let me down, when watercooled runs perfectly well and gets a good overclock

Motherboard

Great Motherboard, though i dont like the rather large obtrusive shroud does get in the way of large Air Coolers

Video Card

Great Graphics card for the money runs everything at max on 1440p

How would you even manage to get work done on a desk like that when all there is to stare at is the beauty of that PC...

11/10 +1

I want to start another account so I can give this a +2 (but, admins, I won't).

MrPeppermint 1 Build 2 points 28 months ago

Gorgeous build man. The thing that makes this build, aesthetically speaking, is the dual res. Very nice touch. +1

(This makes me want to try building a Desk PC.)

WirelessCables 1 Build 2 points 28 months ago

But what will you do with the PC you just posted?

If you don't want it, I'll take it...

MrPeppermint 1 Build 2 points 28 months ago

That's my baby. :P

WirelessCables 1 Build 1 point 28 months ago

SirMints 3 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

Awesome desk! Very cool man!

privateleno 1 point 28 months ago

wow amazing build!

fernando551 1 point 28 months ago

New and unique, however it seems a little bland in the case so why don't you spice things up a bit with some white accents to aid in airflow or something. +1

mitzyjack submitter 2 Builds 2 points 28 months ago

I agree in some sense, when opens there is a lot of free space but when closed it is very active like I said before I would have loved to mount everything to white acrylic and add atleast 3 more fans and another radiator

PCIntake 1 point 28 months ago

I think it needs more white

mitzyjack submitter 2 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

I agree but I was restricted with budget and time, I would have had added a sheet of white acrylic to mount the reservoir and mobo and separated the gpu with a ribbon cable and mounted that onto white acrylic but u know budget

lachiecar 2 points 28 months ago

nooo your parents budget more like it

PCIntake 1 point 28 months ago

lol if your pc were placed in antarctica I couldnt tell it was there, if anything there is A LOT of white on there haha, good job!

Iceman320 1 Build 1 point 28 months ago

Is the ON button that little one at the front of the desk?

mitzyjack submitter 2 Builds 2 points 28 months ago

Ya it's there because I didn't want it dead centre because then everytime I come in closer it turns the PC off

Iceman320 1 Build 1 point 28 months ago

Thought that would have been a pain in the *** :P

Glad you planned ahead.

ATXON 1 point 28 months ago

+1 ******* that's cool! Sorry to hear you got runner's up on the art show thing, at least you got featured on PCPP. ;)

manirellis_fridge 1 point 28 months ago

philphaser 12 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

This is looking so good, that i think it's of uppermost importance for you to get rid of that mousepad and get an all back one.

mitzyjack submitter 2 Builds 2 points 28 months ago

I agree but first I need a new chair and microphone

philphaser 12 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

BM4C 1 Build 1 point 28 months ago

What was up with those last pictures with the cooling tubes and the coolant?

mitzyjack submitter 2 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

Ahh my friend took photos of the bent tubes just though I wanted to add them in cause they looked nice

mcgoff360 1 Build 1 point 28 months ago

it looks great !! reminds me of a build i saw from the thermaltake casemod invitational. how do you plan to deal with the dust?

mitzyjack submitter 2 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

Dust is inevitable, my only solution which is working is that dust has to make an effort to get it side think about it the inlet is on the bottom meaning less dust is going to get through there since it has to go directly up rather than sideways or from a desk like in a normal PC

Stereotypical_Whale 1 Build 1 point 28 months ago

(Picture 21/25) LOL OCD INITIATE! TARGET AQUIRED!!!

mitzyjack submitter 2 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

Lol yeah I I know u can't see it normally but my friend turned the exposure way up and he saw it

DonWD3 1 point 28 months ago

Very nice. I like the color theme and how much extra space everything seems to have. +1

TheGreenfatman 3 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

Wow that's pretty expensive for the glass, I got a piece of glass todo the side window on my FD R5 for $7. Great build by the way, my only concern would be how do you drain the system?

mitzyjack submitter 2 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

Yes I have had this problem, when I had to replace all the fittings, I open the drain valve which usually releases enough liquid in one of the resevoirs that I can open a fitting on either the GPU block(which I don't like to do) or the reservoir, I then blow continuesly for a while taking breaks and using the drain port to let everything out, I have a tube running to a bowl to make sure I don't loose any of the liquid though the first time I did it white coolant got everywhere which I guess it was good that my desk was black so I could collect all of it

TheGreenfatman 3 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

Yeah its what discouraged me from making a custom desk, I had he whole blueprint ready till I started thinking about draining the system and decided to just stick with towers.

TheGreenfatman 3 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

Sadly it was bought in Mexico, just crossing the border to the local town. No its not tempered only because I didnt want to wait, but if I did it would of been like $12 to $15 at the moment. Now it probably cheaper due to the vaule of dollar being higher; $1 dollar = 23 Peso. Its cut well and no sharp at the edeges, also the glass is smoked tint.

mitzyjack submitter 2 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

Ahh u see my glass is tempered and brand new with beveled edges

TheGreenfatman 3 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

Nice, mine its just flat lol

Jaime.g 1 point 28 months ago

DingleDong 1 point 28 months ago

protestjay 5 Builds 1 point 28 months ago

Im loving it :). want to do something like this for my next build. can see it really takes a lot of effort. Im diggin it though! +1

Puhlse 1 point 22 months ago

That's amazing. The effort you put into this build must've been a lot.

tech_geek100 1 Build 1 point 12 months ago

the most epic custom case... In the desk!!!

TioJorge 6 Builds 0 points 28 months ago

This is awesome. I honestly can't say I'd ever want one myself; it doesn't really suit me, and it seems weird to say that with how innovative it is, but I feel like I'd be...overwhelmed (for lack of a better word) with it even after it's all built and done with (not that I could ever do something like this without screwing something up at this point).

But good on you for making it happen, that's crazy.
