Description

First of all I didn't want to spend a lot of money on parts, but wanted a well rounded build. This system will be mostly used for gaming on 1440p. Due to manufacturers making certain color schemes, I settled on a black, red, silver build theme in mind. I made a lot of changes to the parts list but overall am pleased with the results.

Very nice build! Remarkably similar to the parts/color scheme I will be using as well. Let me know how that 390 and 6600k does for you! All I have left to order is the motherboard, so I am getting pretty excited to see what these parts will do for me! +1

I'd say it was a success. The only thing I would have changed is the ram. I would have opted for the red version to better match the system color scheme. Also maybe some cable combs to give the sleeved cables a cleaner look.

Is the fan on the PSU mounted downwards or upwards? Because if it's downwards, putting it on carpet is not a good idea. Might want to find a board or something to put it down on.

It's downwards, however I have the case sitting on 1/2" plywood.

Ah. The picture didn't show that.
