Description

Alright this is an over the top unnecessarily strong PC if you plan on playing on 1080p only. No overclocking necessary by the way. If you do ever plan on playing higher resolutions, this is a good build to start with. Originally I was just going to build a strong gaming PC without any theme but things started matching so I had to get things In red with black or just black. Got a 256GB SSD to install the OS( and a few select games) and a 3TB HDD to install games and everything else. Start up is pretty fast. Alright so about building this PC. The motherboard was a very snug fit and hooking up the SATA cables to the motherboard is a little difficult since the gpu sits right above the slots. The gpu was also a snug fit. I like that with this case you can hide your terrible cable management. So far I'm digging this.

I really love how the h440s all look. blue/black is a good choice.

I ve seen even less on the 900 series cards. Their TDP is crazy low for the power the kick out

Under a heavy load, you can hear the fans running. It's not loud but if you're in a very quiet place you'll hear it. Other than that they're pretty quiet. I'd recommend an h440.

That PSU looks like its going to be under heavy load at only 650w. I would have gone for a 750w with all the parts you have.

He should be ok with just the 1 980. now if a 2nd were to be added, he'd have some problems.

It's doing fine with the current PSU. Like mlach said, if I were to add another one, which i will one day, I'd probably need a 750w
