Description

This is my first gaming build in a long while, being a console gamer who recently decided to go PC (Yay! Mustard Race) after a long hiatus. Most of the parts were transplanted from my old desktop PC which was previously used for light PC duties.

New parts purchased include: 1) i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core 2) ASRock B85 Killer 3) Zotac GeForce GTX 960 2GB 4) Corsair Spec-03 Red (hence the build name) 5) Corsair AF120 Red LED fan X 4 6) Corsair AF140 Red LED fan X 2 7) SilverStone Technology All Black 1-to-8 PWM Fan Hub (only realized my fans are not PWM fans after purchase) 8) Ducky DK2108S Blue Led Cherry MX-Brown 9) Logitech G502 Mouse

Well, it is a relatively budget build but I could play most of the AAA titles at 1080p with 60fps or close to that. A very happy PC convert I am!

I used this case in my build Dark Matter. What did you think of it? I found the most annoying thing was the cable management. I wish that all of the cable routing holes had rubber grommets to hide the cables behind them. Good build but, honestly I would have gone with better RAM too. But, that's SO easy to upgrade so GREAT JOB. :)

What do you mean? This build is has decent components and the price is good. Sorry that it doesn't have a 5960X and SLI 980 Ti's.

Everything is great but the low speed RAM and HDDs

All of which were clearly transplanted from a previous build as the OP so graciously mentioned.
