Description

This was the first PC I had. I used to use it to play MINECRAFT, LEAGUE OF LEGENDS, PLANTS VS ZOMBIES and ADVENTURE CAPITALIST. It ran all the games I mentioned before at 30-40 fps in 768p. Also, I had worked with this computer doing 3D animations on CInema 4D (which were very crappy). I used to clean it TWICE A WEEK (YEA I LOVED IT ). At first, I worked like silk, but after 2-3 years I started to give it "some" maintenance lol . It may be a bit laggy even having Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit installed in it, which is really light actually. Because of that OS, I can just have 3 Gb of ddr2 RAM which is not that much for multitasking. My WD Caviar Blue 320 Gb is perfect for this build, just that. The HDD is actually on my new build, I'm just telling you why it was used for on this PC. The PSU wattage isn't 250w, actually it's 450w, and YEA! never exploted Well, guys, hope you like my OLD CRAPPY AMAZING PC!!!! At least the cooler is a Cooler Master one, lol.

Hey, guys! Because all of you love my build and my temps... , I'm buying a NEW GPU for this "PC". My options are: From nvidia: Geforce 210, Gt 610, Gt 720, Gt 730, Quadro K420, Gtx 750 and (if it doesn't require a 6-pin connector and I have the money ) Gtx 750 Ti From amd: HD5450, R5 230, R7 240 and R7 250 What do YOU think should I choose? :)

Part Reviews

CPU

Works perfectly, just $10 NEW in my country.

CPU Cooler

Quieter than my i5 stock cooler LOL

Motherboard

Ok. It only supports 4gb of ddr2 RAM, sadly.

Memory

Does the job. May be a little slow, huh?

Memory

Very cheap, it really just costed 10 dollars to me.

Case

Not that bad for cable management. PSU is good.

Can I go like.. Cry in the corner, that your CPU clock speed is.. Better than mine? Do you have an appropiate corner like without spiders?

You can get a used core 2 quad really cheap these days, that slap in another 2gb and just about any graphics card that was made in the last decade and you have a dinosaur to be reckoned with!

  • 2 points

Or you could install linux, that would run well too

I have windows 7 32-bit and it supports a maximum of 3gb, and I've got very important data stored in there, but read my description update and tell me, which gpu should I choose?

  • 2 points

I would say go with the 730, it should do well gaming at 720p and is still quite lite on the wallet and psu.

you should probably back your data up on a flash drive or something anyway :P

EDIT: the 240 is about the same performance and price wise so just get whichever one is cheaper

GeForce 210 or 750 (Ti) or R7 250 or HD 5450.

All others are horrible price to performance (The integrated graphics on a Pentium G4400 about equal the R7 240, which is the same price. But the R7 lacks the two cores of the Pentium)

The 210 and 5450 are just "I have a graphics output" and the 750, 750 Ti and 250 actually deliver some performance.

The step-up from the G41 integrated graphics to a 210 is pretty significant, but from a 210 to a 750 Ti is an even bigger leap.

I've got a core 2 duo with the integrated 256 Mb vram motherboard gpu. I haven't got a pentium g4400, or a motherboard that supports it.

I know, I just wanted to demonstrate how bad the price per performance really is.

I think you have it backwards, rather the entire CPU cooler, CPU, motherboard and case melted into one object. :D
