Description

I've had this bad boy for about a month and absolutely love it, I've been playing games like smite on max 1360x768 on a 32 inch monitor with no lagg. Big shout out to Linus Tech Tips for the great information and the confidence boost to build my first rig! :DD

This was my first build ever :D, I went with an APU for the purpose of light multimedia/game use. Not a 4k worthy dream machine, but definitely worth my hard earned money .^.

CPU: AMD A10-5800k ~ Got lucky and bought it for $89.99 on sale from Amazon. The benchmarks are almost exactly the same on cpu boss. So saved $40 for near same performance.

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 ~ Great price and value!

MoBo: ASRock FM2A75M Pro4+ Micro ATX FM2+ ~ Cannot beat the price and the features are great, including the 4 ram slots.(Hard to find 4 slots for an fm2 board under $79.99)

Memory: A-Data XPG ~ I went with 1866mhZ because I could not find an AMD source verifying the supported memory speed, you could probably run a 2133 with a slight performance increase.

Storage: PNY XLR8 120gb ~ Sacrificed short term capacity for speed, and I am not disappointed whatsoever. I don't see how I ever lived without an SSD.

PSU ~ I actually ended up grabbing a Antec 80+ 450 watt PSU @ Staples(lol) out of impatience same price at $35.99, Black casing looks slick and quiet :D.

how much space have you used on your SSD? I am planning on getting one but have a very tight budget which limits capacity choices

About $59, great deal really, though I would suggest if you can work it into your build buying a 240gb ssd.

This is a sweet build! Nice choice with the CPU. Hey can anyone tell me if the core clock rate on a video card will affect the cpu's GHz or it makes the pc faster. i have the same video card and i want to know weather or not it affects the speed. by the way the os does effect the speeds of the pc and if your gonna be gaming windows 7

How does that CPU cooler fit the case? Does it touch the case side panel? Also, mounting the PSU at the top with only 4 screws screwing in from the side, does it not feel a bit "insecure" as if the PSU is about to fall?
