I was able to complete this build with one purchase and that was a matching case to my main rig. This machine is used for Netflix, and a gaming rig for my partner or guests.
Budget Boi. And those parts are mighty dated.
this is a build strait out of my college days. (hi 2015) its fine though for a secondary build. This build can still play any game on the market without fail (granted maybe lower settings, but it will play it). Its a nice build and if you need to there will be cheap upgrades in the future if you feel the need to upgrade (the intel xeon e3-1230 v3 comes to mind, 76 bucks for a quad core HT lga 1150 chip), not that there is any rush on that. same thing with the gpu, if it plays the games leave it, once it gets outdated throw in a new cheap gpu (maybe by that time the vega 56 will be a 40 dollar gpu i dunno) depends what your friends play.
770 is still a beast!
I haven't seen one of those zalman copper coolers in a hot minute
Wack CPU cooler. What temps are you getting? +1
