Description

Just for a short intro, I bought all these parts on craigslist brand new sealed in boxes, my goal was to get a powerful for the price budget PC. But only buying locally and new parts, or what I had on hand.

Also with over clocking I was able to get the CPU to 4.2ghz and only hits 63c under load and the CPU i got to 1574mhz and that only hits 72c under load.

CPU Got this one since its 1150 i can easily upgrade later and its easily overclocked, though i am new to overclocking and could only get it to 4.2ghz stable.

Mobo I got this one due to the fact it had bluetooth and wifi built in, and for a compact rig, thats gold.

Ram It was an awful color, but i got it cheap, so i wont complain.

Storage I plan to add an HDD later but to start i bought the crucial and M.2 SSDs for super cheap, and the guy threw in the Adata one for free.

Cooler Nice little water cooler which is good cause this cases airflow isnt exactly great, put some after market fans on it in push pull, but i had to mount the second fan on the outside to make sure i had room on the inside.

Case I was surprised i was even able to find a MITX case locally but i did and love it, for how small it is it was very easy to build in and had plenty of room for everything and still has room to add 2 HDDs if i need to in the furute. Not very good airflow but its super small, quite, looks good.

GPU I got this one mainly because it has low power usage, quite, fans dont even turn on till it gets hot, and i was able to overclock it to 1574mhz and it only goes to 72c under load.

Fans Great fans, had these 2 laying around cause i bought too many on my last build.

PSU perfect for my build. gold rated, fully modular, and a mitx psu, even though this case will fit an atx one, this saved space.

Monitor amazing, got it cheap, matte finish, very crisp picture, 1080p. nothing id change about it.

Keyboard and Mouse Not bad at all for membrane, but im used to it coming from a logitech g15.

It's for a different motherboard, but that really just makes the names of things different. This has helped me get some insight into how overclocking works. And it's fine if during stress tests your CPU get hotter. As long as it keep under 70 during gaming. Great job on the GPU overclock!

I really like it so far, before this in my last build I had a i5 4590, and in gaming I don't notice a difference with this over clocked. And when I benchmarked it, its single core performance was insane. But in more processing intensive tasks it'll fall behind my i5, but there it does as well as my fx-6300 non over clocked.
