If this was built more recently, you should have done these things: 1. Gotten a 770 for near the same price. 2. Gotten a Samsung 840 (Pro) SSD. 3. Gotten a better motherboard, such as the UD3H or P8Z77-LK.

I'm not going to tell you that you should have gotten Haswell because there are very few advantages for hardcore gaming or overclocking, and the Z87 motherboards are like $20-$30 more than Z77 and aren't much better for general gaming purposes.

Awesome! Pretty much what we are building. Same MoBo CPU and almost same Video card. Can't wait for my parts to arrive next week!

Great build, it would be better if the graphics were upgraded to a 770, which is 23 dollars more, but more powerful than a GTX 680.
