Description

only wanted to do some upgrades and ended up with a new pc ecksdee.

i'm using Cosmos rubber mounting screw rivets that stick out, so the magnetic dust filters dont fit.

Crucial MX300 750GB 2.5" SSD (Amazon $99.99)

Sapphire Radeon RX 480 4GB NITRO+ 4G (Amazon $229.99)

Part Reviews

Case

Stunning case. Knocking a star because stock anidees fans are a ***** to get off (screw strip so easily like a broke *** girl putting herself through college). Not a lot of space in the back for cable management. I am using Cosmos rubber mounting screws/rivets so the magnetic dust filters can't be placed. Everything else I love.

Headphones

Great VALUE. Low price, great sound stage and EXTREMELY comfortable.

Other

Truly bright LED's. Strong magnets. 1 star off because ***** expensive. $22 for 30 cm of LED? Who would buy this?

Other

Awesome little things if you don't mind them poking out of holes. They absorb vibration and are so much easier than using screws. You don't have to screw into plastic! Only works with open corner fans.

To the places you bought the PC components from.

will it fry an egg?

RaspberryPiFan 8 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

No. The temperatures are too low to fry an egg.

Razorwing02 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

just slap 4 r9 furys in there and you should be good

RaspberryPiFan 8 Builds 1 point 7 months ago

This can't be more wrong.

4 way GTX 580 SLI.

I should take off the CPU cooler too while I'm at it. I could really go for some fried egg.

Nice build! I see from the parts list, you purchased the Philips SHP9500 and I was wondering how you like them? I am planning to pick up a pair myself for listening to music and gaming! +1 from me!

kho2194 submitter 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

Thanks! I absolutely love the SHP9500's. They are extremely comfortable. Good clarity and sound stage. If you enjoy subwoofer-like deep bass in your head I don't recommend them because they lack bass due to the open back design. You'll definitely be able to distinguish the bass, though. Overall excellent build quality, sound and price!

Thanks for the info! Your input definitely sold me on whether to purchase these cans! Once again, thanks and great build! :)

memewaffle 1 point 7 months ago

I got the Z170-AR for $3 at microcenter.

kho2194 submitter 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

what was the dead board you returned ? if it was the same board then they scammed you out of $3 haha

memewaffle 1 point 6 months ago

Nope, it was actually a cheaper board. I think it was the Gigabyte z170 HD3P.

Schoologykid123 1 point 6 months ago

Is it just me or is your gpu slightly bent at the end?

kho2194 submitter 1 Build 1 point 6 months ago

gpu sag, but i probably didn't screw it in tight enough.
