Description

An upgrade for my friends original build (linked here )

For this build we retained all the storage/boot drives, PSU, GPU and CPU cooler. As for the new hardware there's been no issues so far. The H500i was a beaut to build in, a very solid handsome case and I loved the cable management channels at the rear. I would like to add some sleeved extensions to the PSU for a more pleasing look in the future.

As for the cooler we stuck with 212 and added another fan to aid cooling and it's been performing great so far. The new mount we got directly from Cooler Master was a little fiddly and not quite clear on how to install however. (let me know if we should upgrade the cooler altogether though)

All in all an easy, good looking build.

Question: As the PSU is getting on in years would you advise on replacing it in the future?

Any tips/feedback are welcome

Thank you!

Yes, actually i have a feedback for you.

IF the upperfan, which is exactly above the cooling unit, is blowing air out will in fact decrease the cooling effect.

Very nice case and motherboard wink wink. Red and black are my fav builds out there, great job. Wish mine was this clean.
