Description

This is a gaming build, I did not scrimp on parts worrying about price because I wanted a system that could handle anything I threw at it, that said I did not go ALL OUT obviously, I could have spent triple easy, but still built a computer I am very satisfied with. The cable management was a little difficult just because some of the cords were literally "JUST" long enough to plug into the motherboard, also had to buy some SATA cables after the fact because the motherboard only comes with 2. Please ask me any questions if you are thinking of a similar build or using any of these parts.

Also: Thank you to my very good friend HELLIOT for helping build it, AWSOME.

i would have gotten an h60, unless you are going to overclock the living hell out of that thing.

I defiantly wanted the option to overclock

idk about you but a h60 with a 980ti and i7 4790k would look kinda of silly in this case. :P

Aesthetics were also very important :)

The H60 has a 120mm rad.

The H100i has a 240mm rad.

The H100i will perform infinitely times better.

Interesting choice of PSU, platinum power supplies consume less watts from the source, as they are of higher efficiency and generally quality. What was the reason you bought it?

Well, quality was the most important in my decision. and the money I will save on power is a plus too.

Also the estimated wattage of the build is 64% of the wattage of the PSU

Very nice build! I have been thinking about building in this case or the 450D

Well I probably don't need to tell you the difference between Full and Mid cases, but if you went with the 450D the cable management might be easier, but you will have less airflow, I was thinking about getting the 450D, but went with this one because like I said, larger means more Air flow and cooler components.

Why have 2 SSDs? I mean, you could have gone all-SSD with a WD Red HDD, but...why have 2 SSDs and an HDD?

I didn't want any problems with bottle necking, I use one for my OS and the other for my games, the HDD is just for stuff like pictures and videos i wont be using anytime soon

Good idea. I just didn't have the budget for an SSD in my build. You can check it out on my page ;)

So I take it you could change the LED color on the Windforce cooler through Gigabyte's awful software? I have a Windforce 390x and I can't change the color at all...

Yes with the included software

UGH AMD 390x LED cannot be changed or turned off from OC Guru... going to buy a red led and soder that sucker in just because the blue light destroys my red theme.

Super jelly.
