Description

Everything fits, though you'll need to mount the radiator on the h60 sideways. As noted in the warning you'll need an adapter for the DVD drive, though the external case is unneeded. With some additional screws you can a fan on either side of the radiator for push/pull. Plug the h60s pump into the CPU fan plug and set it to 100% in bios.

Fun little build.

What is this being used for? Overpaid for 1tb of storage, and an SSD would have been a nice addition.

its a blck drive and since theres no ssd the performance boost would be welcome, allthough i agree shouldve gotten a blue and used the saved money on upgrading the graphics card

Being used as a general purpose machine for my kid.

Alright then, the SSD would have been overkill. But still overpaid for 1TB.

In retrospect, it appears that way!

You could have gotten a r7 265 at $150, better than the 750Ti and only $5 more.

You spent almost $200 on a feature rich Z87 board, but you get a locked CPU and watercooling. Not the best choice. You would have been better off with an i5 4670k for a few dollars more. Perhaps some funds could have been differently allocated for a better graphics card, but it's not all that bad. Otherwise nice build. I can imagine routing cables in a small case like that must be difficult.

It's definitely a tight fit. Some choices are a reflection on my own amateurishness in this area. Thanks for the feedback.

Nice build, how is the 750 Ti? I'm considering to get the card for my father's build.

Works well for what what it's being used for, the smaller factor works well with the case. While it'll fit a larger card, it'd make a much tighter fit.

i just saw this case on sale. considering it for my htpc. i have the same gpu in the current case. i'm just worried that the case doesn't allow much airflow to the gpu, even tho that gpu runs pretty cool. any thermal data?

I do have a question about the OD. I have almost the same drive thats coming out of a laptop and was wondering how you got it to work for you other than the adapter. Is there anything special you did?

Why not 4670k with that H60? Nice build anyways.

The H60 was a late addition and one I wasn't sure was going to work, so didn't go back and make other changes.
