Description

My name is Trent and i have been using a prebuilt computer but finally decided to make a change.

I would say that this build was great for the price. At the time is got all of this for $720. This was such a big improvment for me. You can tell because my start up time for my new PC is faster than my shut down from my old one.
CS GO- 180-200 FPS DAYZ- 50 FPS Arma 2- 60 FPS

I also stream. I stream all games you can think of. From Call of Duty to Dayz. What you wanna see I will play. Ive been growing a lot recently. I talk to everyone. Sometimes i talk to viewers more than even look at the game. I consider myself a cool dude and if you ever care to stop by I would love to talk to you. My twitch is - Tmantheman we are a cool community.

"CS GO- 180-200 FPS DAYZ- 50 FPS Arma 2- 60 FPS"

I didn't read CS:GO and saw 180-200 FPS DAYZ and thought to myself holy huhhhhh?????

I thought that 50 fps in dayZ was impossible, not because it is demanding, but because it is so poorly optimized.

btw, its impossible to get 50 fps in dayz with this rig..

Solid Build But You may consider adding a Cpu Cooler in the Future Like a Cooler Master 212 EVO- It will run a lot quieter And an SSD- which will make the Computer faster . +1 Solid Build though

The only problem I have, is the ram...I know most 1600 mhz ram at 8gb only costs about $80 but it's only a minor problem to me. I prefer faster ram. However, this is a great build otherwise. I also have a 760 in my main pc. Great card for $200. +1 man.

I'd have to agree about the RAM: it really could use a little more speed, maybe 1600 or 1866ghz, to get the most out of that FX chip. Another suggestion is like some of the other comments; a Hyper 212 Evo cooler will drop the system noise levels and give you some overclocking headroom if you choose to do that in the future. Otherwise I think it's a good, solid build to last you a while. (If you do get an SSD I suggest a 240 to 256GB size to have room for the OS and a few games.)

The impact of performance as a result of RAM speed difference for a non-APU system will be pretty insignificant.

Consider Linus' video on RAM Speed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWgzA2C61z4

Or JayzTwoCents, if you prefer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yG8HoewIO_s

But for $80 you could get 8gb of 1600mhz ram, and sometimes faster for the same price, so why not get it? I understand he could overclock if he needed to. But still. For gaming, 1600 is pretty much the norm.

It is. My point was basically that it just doesn't matter, really. He can just leave it as is without any noticeable impact.

Out of curiosity, I looked up current RAM pricing. Corsair has some great 2x4 GB RAM @ 67.99 right now. RAM's pricing has gone down since I last did a build.

Sweet build. +1.

Although in such a tight budget and to greatly improve encoding times you probably should have went with a cheaper case and brought the X-8320.

The greatest thing about this build is deciding to use a GTX series card. Quite simply one of the better things you can do as a streamer.
