Description

The machine is manly used for gaming, video editing and Photoshop although I plan to start using blender for 3D modeling and animation in the future. It was a pretty straightforward build it only took me 2 hours to build the thing which I thought was rather good for a first time build. I had quarrels about the CPU cooler when i ordered and i thought it would melt the cup block but it didn't and it keeps it with in reasonable temps, although i did stop it from turboing to 5GHz just to be safe. I used a 1TB hard drive from my old laptop just so i had all my old stuff there. My only problem with the full processes was connecting to my WiFi because of crappy driver support or something so i had to haul this behemoth down the stairs after i just hauled it up them to hook it up with a 1 meter Ethernet cable which wasn't fun but i plugged it in everything updated and the WiFi card miraculously started working properly so then you guessed it i had to haul it back up the stairs for a third time. criticize the build if you want i will take it with open ears but i built this system to do what i want and it does it sure i could have saved money here and there but i didn't. Any who hope you like it i am fairly proud of my cable management

Thanks!

How hot does the fx 9590 run? That certainly seems op, but imo I would rather get the i7 for it's substantially lower tdp.

Out of kind curiosity why that processor, in my mind I feel like its just an really good op and oc'ed 8350. :(

well if your oc an i7 is going to draw more power and more heat maybe not as much as the 9590 but iv not tested it out my self but the i7 is better for productivity i would say and the 9590 does better at streaming and gaming. correct me if im wrong but if your hesitant i would just go with the i7.

Neither Have I, as I only felt the wrath of the 8320 (stock fan a bit loud). I've heard streaming is better when compare to an i5, I don't think an i7 as hyperthreading certainly works. I like your build don't worry , just 220 tdp is insane to imagine. :)

Actually the i7 on average is better at gaming, the only places where the 9590 is better is on openCL applications.

The cable management is very nice in this build, good job! How did you pull off that miraculous 290 steal? +1
