Description

1700 overclocked to 3.8ghz Case was from an old computer that a friend gave to me, there is definitely not a Pentium 4 inside this computer anymore.

Seasonic Focus Gold was won at a lan party, this pc doesn't really need a 1000w psu even with the vega 64 and overclocked Ryzen 1700.

Damn that looks good. Reminds me of the sleeper build I did for my old boss. Granted the Inspiron 580 is a little newer than the old Dimension.. but it has a Ryzen 3 1200, 32GB of ram (idk why he got so much) and RX 560 now. I love old sleepers like these.

It was more like a raffle, I ran the Counter Strike Tournament at the Lan Party though.

Now that's a proper sleeper if I've ever seen one

Great build, but I always wonder how are temperatures in these old cases that were really not made for airflow.

Brings Dell to Lan Party and gets laughed at. Runs everything in Ultra and host games with no lag. Walks out with smug smile.

Very nice build.

USB 3.0 On a Dimension 3000, that looks fishy!! I love sleepers and your case is in such a good shape.

Love it. Sleeper builds are my favorite and I remember seeing these Dell Dimensions everywhere when I was younger. There is an awkward sort of charm to old OEM cases that can't be matched by RBG and windowed side panels. Looks relatively clean inside too taking into account the lack of conveniences and cable management we're used to in modern custom cases.
