Build

Gaming Rig V.2

by Xistance

Description

This machine was built for gaming and web browsing. This is my second build so I deiced to get nice parts this time around. Some parts are reused such as the GPU, case and power supply.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great CPU. Overclocks very easily. Runs very cool and is very fast.

CPU Cooler

No problems. Easy to install keeps my CPU cool. Only downside is that there is so many cords coming out of it. Also the Corsair link cable is very ugly to use so I didn't even use it. Also the fan splitter that is attached to the pump odes not work.

Motherboard

Great for overclocking and everything else. Has plenty of features and nice additions. Has an ample amount of fan headers and is also great IO. No complaints.

Memory

Fast and good looking all I could ask for.

Storage

The load times are amazing on this thing and it works great.

Video Card

Runs every game great and is perfect for my set up. I just want a new one now seeing all these shiny new GPUs.

Case

Great to work in. Only problem is the window is hideous and scratches easily.

Power Supply

Its a power supply not much to say.

Case Fan

Good looking but really loud.

Case Fan

expensive for a fan but it looks good and is pretty quiet.

Monitor

Does all I could ask for and is all I need

Monitor

Great for gaming and the refresh rate is nice. Only downside is the colors are very muted.

Keyboard

Beautiful keyboard. And works great

Mouse

DO NOT BUY THE ELITE. This mouse is much better and is cheaper.

Headphones

Very heavy and kind of uncomfortable. But sound good and are wireless

Hi, I'm trying to decide between the Gigabyte GC_WB867D-I and the TP-Link TL-WDN4800 (https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/G4H323/tp-link-wireless-network-card-tlwdn4800)... there a few reviews that the TP-Link doesn't work too well with windows 10 if you want 5.0GHz band, so maybe you can sell me on the Gigabyte Adapter? Theres a few reviews that say the bluetooth doesn't connect, or dropped connections, and the adapter not working after a few months to a year... Have you had this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Trust me, i accidentally put a dent in my desk by tossing an apple XD i know the pain.

Lets just say my dents are not from an apple. I also learned I am much stronger than anticipated......
