Description

Hey guys, im an 19 year old Aussie who decided it was time to upgrade my mother's PC for her.

The Parts Listed as $0, were scavenged/extracted or buried under many forms of junk in the closet.

Also as a side note, the Case and power supply are not actually what is listed, couldn't find the correct tag for each. They are however quite similar in size/design.

The HDD is also a 250 GB WD.

The Main uses for this PC was to do simple tasks, reasonably quickly at a low price.

Some of the aforementioned uses include: Web Browsing, Email, Storing some photos, minor photo editing, and looking at lol cats. ( sigh)

CPU: Really love the A series CPU's from AMD, there cheap, reliable and provide everything one might need for the intended budget.

Motherboard: Chose one of the cheapest boards i could find. I took an Asus board over saving 5$ on an MSI for the simple reason of BIOS Preference.( Pretty big Asus fan!!)

RAM: RAM is incredibly expensive ( due to the factory incident), so i purchased the cheapest 4 GB RAM i could find. No complaints, working well.

Storage: Now I figured that never experiencing the true speed of an SSD, my mum would have a nice little surprise when doing her thing. I Bought the cheapest one ( Its actually only 64 GB) due to the fact that its only going to have Windows on it and important drivers, really don't need anything bigger. No complaints so far! There is also a 250 GB WD mechanical drive i have yet to put in, because it is currently being used. Soon.

PSU: Left over from somewhere... DONT KNOW!

Case: ^^

Windows 7 Ultimate: Chose this because, i definitely paid for it and wouldn't dream of pirating it.... (cough, cough) :/

And.... Thats it, Please feel free to criticize where it need be.

***Sorry for any Blurry photos

Thanks!!

Looks nice, I just recently built a new PC for my mother using an A4-3300. The price/performance ratio on those APU's is amazing. I hope she enjoys the new computer!

When taking photos, keep the camera close to your body. That way, it doesn't shake as much, and your pictures look better.

Cheap builds deserve a SSD. The CPU and what not might not be the best but adding a SSD makes things seem fast.

Yep, CPU still sufficient for the use xD
