Description

Say hello to BIG Nasty! This is my first PC build and I am really excited and proud about how it turned out! I did research everyday for hours for almost 2 months and watched countless YouTube videos during/before the build! It will be used primarily for gaming and your basic computer uses. I was hesitant about building one, but it turned out to be a lot easier than expected! I built this PC for my new house which is under construction and will be a great addition to the new house in August :)!!!!

During the build I had a major freak out LOL! I bent one of the pins on the motherboard for the USB 3.0 port. I literally freaked out and stopped working on it for a couple hours. When I calmed down I looked up some stuff to see if it was fixable and tried the mechanical pencil fix....it worked!

The only part I do not have is the GTX 1080! I can not get my hands on one! It sells out so freaking fast! I put down the EVGA card, but at this point I am just trying to get any card, but the founders edition of course lol! So, hopefully I can get my hands on one soon!

For the mouse and keyboard I actually got them for free!! Years and years ago I won a Battlefield 1942: Desert Combat dogfight competition and that's what I won! I completely forgot about it until went digging for some tools in the garage! LOL! So, I got to save a good bit of money for those two!

Well other than that can't wait to get the GPU and start gaming!!! Any of you want to sell me a GTX 1080 :P

Learn about cable management, my fellow builder. Those rubber grommets have a purpose.

Yeah I tried to do a little bit more cable management using the rubber grommets, but it would not reach. Like the cable at the top left it would not reach if I put it through the rubber grommets. I will try to do some more cable management on it since I do have a GPU yet. I was just excited to get it up and running.

Understandable, I was pretty hyped about my build. It was messy at first for me, too

I have the same case, same PSU, and the cryorig h5. I was able to route that cable through the grommet to the right of the PSU, and under the mobo, and then up to the most top left grommet and out to the dual 4pin connector. it wasn't easy to do, but it's possible...

Looks great! That Cryorig is awesome to work with. My grandma wants a 1080 for her build (true story) but we havent been able to find any availiable either so I found a deal on newegg for a 980ti for $399 so thats gonna be the placeholder until the 1080s are more availiable. Too bad it doesnt match her color scheme though. She said she'd sell it to me cheap so I need to start saving for another build.

Why would your grandma want a 1080 for her build?

She mainly plays ARK survival but also diablo 2 and 3 and some others. And she also has a 144hz monitor. Mainly wants to top my uncles computer. Gloating rights, that sort of thing.

Nice build. You gonna add some red LED fans and strips to make those parts 'pop out'?

Good job on the bent cable. No, seriously, it's good to step away, calm down, and re-address the problem (instead of freaking out and making it worse--like I did this one time :P).

Have you played any games on the integrated graphics? If so, how is it?

Thanks man! I actually saw some red led fans yesterday on Amazon and I think I am going to get them really soon. Once I do I will add pictures of course.

I tried playing Battlefield 4 and CS:GO. The integrated graphics were way to weak for BF4 and for CS:GO well it was okay, but not smooth play like you would be used to. I will say I was surprised with the integrated graphics b/c I was expecting complete crap.
