Video of starting thr build https://youtu.be/Dw5LsHQW0eE

I created this PC so I could Surf the web, amazon, and Ebay all at the same time. No special need of CAD, or photoshop, or 3d Rendering. Just a man wanting to build something beautiful.

after about 3 weeks of waiting for all of my parts to come in, I've finally constructed my first gaming PC. There was a lot of troubleshooting to figure out I had a DOA PSU, and a motherboard with bent pins that were simply just unfixable. but in the end it was worth it! Let me know what you guys think!

The V300 SSDs are not great units for their price points. That being said, I'd have to be quite thoroughly mad to make the claim that they detract from the blinding awesomeness of this build. You have my +1, and this build definitely deserves a feature.

Actually.. If you look up Vector Gaming Desk. TONS of info pops up.. Lol.

  • 2 points

Vector Co. is a little Malaysian company. They make about 10 of these a year or so.

But I can tell you first hand. Had I know they were going to send me a 200 pound box of small pieces id have to assemble myself, and drill all my own holes and thread everything myself, I would have told them to eat it :-p

People need to realize that Kingston SSDs are garbage . Also EK is the best when it comes to watercooling... XPSC doesn't even come close to EK or Bitpower.

  • 1 point

This so wrong and so right at the same time !

  • 300% more expensive CPU than a 5820k for less than 10% increased performance ?
  • Why cheaping out on the PSU ? I'd hope to see at least a HX, or even an AX

That thing is beautifull

  • 1 point

Thanks! I trued bot to skimp on the pSU too much. I had a lot of things to hook up.

This pc has two corsair rm1000's in it.

The mobo and other normal pc parts are on one,

And the watercooling and lights are on another.

Sweet build my man! But why didn't you use hardline tubing??

  • 1 point

That's a good question.

And in retrospect, I WISH I would have. When I do my first reservoir empty and cleaning, ill switch out my tubing!

Dont worry, i wont report and spam you with 20 messages like anyone else would on this site if you said that to them because you simply see something and have to say something negative.

Its just money, you cant take it with you.

Im not sure if you own the board and the card or not, but on youtube reviews they may sound like theyre the same, i can tell you that there is a considerable quality difference between them audibally. The phoebus delivers some of the best sound ive had in awhile.

ESPECIALLY when youre using a mic and headphones. Teamates hear virtually no ambient noise.

Also, the motherboard doesnt have Rog command built in. that was also a feature that i wanted. And eould pay 150 for just that.

In addition to that, out of everything jn this pc, i cant believe you said that was the waste of money.

It seems not.. At least this build will last him 20 years base on what he is doing.

I do a little MMO RPG gaming, and some games like StarCraft. I havnt honestly seen any new PC games that interested me!

The goal was in the future to get a nice 3d printer and be able to render whatever I needed. One of the commercial models that use metal.
