EDIT***So I changed my keyboard, due to the Razer Chroma being SO LOUD. I swapped to a Logitech G Pro, and it is absolutely amazing. :)
So I have always been a gamer, and enjoyed all kinds of video games on all platforms. When this streaming stuff really took off, I decided that it would be a great idea to dip my toes in the water with a $1k budget build...As you can see that took a huge turn, and surprisingly, with the full support of my wife! I spent countless hours staring at this site and hundreds of other builds, and piecing things together to get exactly what I wanted, and the basic idea and reason for why it took off, is I kept thinking to myself how much it will cost me later to upgrade, and I didn't want to fork out the extra money then, so I just went ahead with it now! Everything in the Part List is every purchase I made for this build, and it's quite solid if I say so myself. My temps are about 30C idling and never over 45C under load (Streaming & Gaming). I have not overclocked anything yet, besides the 3200 RAM, because when installed it was at 2144 for some reason, so I pushed that to what it should be. I plan too, just not yet. I really hope you enjoy and let me know if you have any questions!
I will add more pictures when my wife edits them! She took them with her camera, and will get them all "done" up for me! For now, here's a few from my phone!
What can I say, it's a coffee lake. Works amazing, just as it should. And well worth the price!
Very easy to install, and very sturdy in my case! The lighting on it is fantastic, and keep my CPU under 45C. The infinity mirror RGB is what sold it for me though. Fantastic CPU Cooler!
Had a little trouble working around the BIOS, it's very user friendly, but almost "too" user friendly. If you're experienced in gaming, and overclocking, I'd go with a more advanced motherboard. 4 stars because the display ports on the board were DOA. But I don't use them so it doesn't affect me greatly.
Great memory, great colors, terrible price (expected)
It's a SSD, what more could you want?! Works great, loads fast.
My very first time using an M.2 SSD, and I don't regret it. Makes reboots SO much faster, when you can hit that reboot button and you're typing your password in again in less than 10 seconds, that's a great feeling!
A little noisy, but not terrible. Also pricey, but the price to reliability ratio, it's great!
Great 1080 for the price! I wish the LED Lights were customizable. I went with the 1080 because I couldn't spend the extra $200 on a 1080Ti when the results wouldn't make a difference for what I use it for. Does what it needs to for my needs! Great GPU!
This was the FIRST piece I chose for my build, and my entire build revolved around the beauty of this case. I'm SO surprised it's this affordable, it could easily sell for $150+. You can't find a better case for this price! Roomy, quiet, and great cable management built into the back. The tempered glass front really lets you show off your RGB (if you're into that)
For the price, you can't find another 650W Gold Certified this amazing! Very happy with it's performance and how quiet it is!
I hate this thing honestly. Doesn't work at all. Can't get it to read with the CAM software, or any of my fan RGB. They really have a lot of work to do to get this thing properly working.
I just had to throw a review in on these headphones, because of how amazing they are. I'd recommend them to my worst enemy. Enough said. :)
Very good mic, almost too good! Takes a lot of adjusting to get the right pick up from it. It was able to pick up a conversation (during my stream) my wife and I were having across the house in another room!
