Description

This is my old build that I built in 2017 but I have upgraded it. It had a gtx 1070, 16gb of ddr4, two 2.5 SSDs, and a 650w psu. But now I put a 1080 ti, 16gb more of ddr4, an m.2 SSD, and a 1000w psu. This pc is a beast!! I love it, it can play any game I want and searches the internet really fast. I know there’s better hardware out there now since it’s 2019 but I am happy with this build. It’s going to be a good gaming pc until it’s time to build another one.

Wow, this is actually an amazing value for money build.

That's because the 1080 Ti isn't priced in. Buying 10 series cards is not worth it at this point. A 2070 SUPER would've done much better for price/performance.

Ohhh okay, I thought you must've found a 1080 Ti deal for $500 - $600, I guess I wasn't thinking while looking at this build but an RX 5700 XT would've also done a great job, I believe its somewhere in the neighborhood of 1080 Ti territory in terms of performance actually and it helps that its cheaper than the 2070 Super.

I could have gotten a rtx 2070 super, the only reason why I didn’t was because I didn’t really think about it lol. But I am happy with my Gtx 1080 ti either it isn’t worth getting 10 series cards or not. To me it does what I want it to do, which plays games with no lag or drop in performance. So I am happy. If I get an rtx 20 series card I’m going to build a whole new computer.
