Description

He wanted to play some fps games and low graphically intense games. So i looked at his computer and realized it was complete crap. I had an old powersupply laying around and an extra gtx 950 and decided to see if it could improve his pc. The cpu is a quad core so its alrite u can say, but it bottlenecks the gpu a lot. TF2 gets around 60-90 fps and csgo gets 100-150 fps. Will update soon to see how it plays elder scrolls online. He will in the future upgrade his cpu to a i3 sklylake but for now its perfect for his needs. BTW hes mainly a console gamer

+1 for the TaiSol fan. I'm experiencing AMD K7 nostalgia.

From that picture id say it looks a little dusty. I recomend cleaning it out cause that can really help with temps and more FPS

Which motherboard is he using?

Oh, one tip: change the PSU for an EVGA 430w, his actual PSU won't support GTX 950 for a long time, soo...

FM1 has very limited choices for upgrade. So close to get your friend to switch from console to PC, so close!

Hey. I love when people maintain odd rigs. I just wondered what motherboard is in that.

Will do and how long do u think the powersupply will last for now before it does damage. He used to have one of those no brand all white powersupplys so figured the tr2 was better
